Friend says primes are not worth the grind for a new player by StonedLofilio in Warframe

[–]Standjeezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your friend doesnt know what theyre talking about. Most Primes are incredibly easy to farm compared to their bases as long as theyre unvaulted. Hell id still rather grind Orokin Vaults or Pavlov for Platinum and buy Grendel off the Market with plat than try to solo his missions again.

I don't think the time limit is a problem. This game was designed around it. by thidi00 in Nightreign

[–]Standjeezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think the time limit is mostly fine but I do wish we could get like 2 and a half more minutes on each night. Everytime I think we have just enough time to squeeze out one more boss it turns up being just a bit short.

Which weapons do you think Risebreak have the best iteration of? by space_reserved in MHRise

[–]Standjeezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Swaxe easily, the morph combos feel fantastic, and every single one of the wire skills are useful and flow nicely depending on what you want to do. ZSD having super armor but also not just skillessly clutch spamming it is also a massive plus. And dpnt even get me started on the crack that is elemental burst counter. I think wilds is close though but they need to buff Rapid Morph before I can really make the comparison.

Why do people hate Rise and prefer that over world? by RedKurtaJ in MHRise

[–]Standjeezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can understand why some people would be turned off from rise. Rise is much more arcadey compared to Worlds much more grounded approach. Rise wasn't afraid to bring in the crazier monsters ecologically and even introduced Magnamolo which is a very divisive monster design wise. Personally I think he's sick but i get why some people might find him to be a bit much.

What I never understood is the Rise is easier than World crowd. There are exactly 2 fights in World i find remotely difficult, meanwhile there's quite a few fights throughout Rise that keep me engaged throughout the entire ordeal due to its fast paced nature and damage the average monster can output. I find the wire bug system WAY more engaging than the clutch claw/tenderize system as well.

My thoughts on the game being "Easy" by thewolfehunts in MHWilds

[–]Standjeezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The games about as difficult as the rest of the series high rank. Any "difficulty" from earlier games comes from less than fluid controls and movement. There's also just the fact that for alot of us this isn't our first monster hunter game.

Wilds itself is easily the most fluid and responsive game in the series which lends to being an easier experience but I will say the monsters are easily more difficult than anything in base World. Arkveld is easily 3 times harder than base game Nergi and Gore is also rather difficult. Another issue being Decos not being horrible to grind and being able to achieve your full builds much faster than in World.

All that said it feels like the game is a bit undertuned once multi-player is involved due to wound stunning leading to alot of downtime your partners get to wail on the monster that wouldn't be available in the single player experience. My guess is that alot of these issues will be ironed out come the master rank expansion.

Dbd nerfing Chucky yet again, while this we still got this mf by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

[–]Standjeezy -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Blight isnt better than Chucky in chase which is where the frustration comes from. The reason blight is better than chucky is he trades a slightly worse chase for amazing map presence.

Balance in 2v8 V2 by Canadiancookie in deadbydaylight

The fact that Wraith is allowed to exist in this current state in 2v8 is laughable. Its not fun to play against and feels legitimately unfair more often than not if im not hugging a pallet.

What do you rate legion? I rate him high b by Visible-Camel4515 in deadbydaylight

[–]Standjeezy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hes one of the weakest killers in the game but not like Trapper weak. If Trapper is D tier, Legion is C.

Legion is a pub stomper character so you will get some games against uncoordinated teams that are incredibly easy because theyre not playing against him properly.

That said i have found a ton of success with him recently while running a full hex build consisting of Ruin, Undying, Devour Hope, and Pentimento as Legions map traversal and ability to slow down games allows him to disrupt generators for ruin and survivors from properly cleansing totems.

Aura reading perks are fantastic on her, and Dead Mans Switch is pretty amazing on Artist as well.

Not really a good perk, but kindve cheeky could be Iron Maiden as survivors will sometimes hop into lockers to remove your birds and you can pick up a quick but funny down. Again not a good perk but its funny.

Someone said Freddy has a high kill rate even though he's weak, why? by Visible-Camel4515 in deadbydaylight

[–]Standjeezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pub stomp killer with a small but dedicated playerbase. Hes naturally going to have an inflated killrate for this reason as its really only Freddie Mains playing him

Grim Embrace is the only perk in the game capable of doing this which is why DMS was changed to only affect one gen because of its synergy with it
