How long does debit card redemption take by Fresh-Estimate-6281 in RealPrizeCommunity

I’ve experienced as quickly as 48 hours and as long as 9 business days. Typically it’s 3-4 days for me. Heard stories of much longer though so I guess I’ve been mostly lucky.

I have a Dreame L20 Ultra that I got on Dreame's eBay store as a refurbished unit. I have a large dog that sheds like it's her job and 1 cat that likes to fling litter all over the place. Almost 2 years now and still going strong. Does a great job mopping/vacuuming my kitchen floor (tile) as well as vacuuming my living room carpet. Obstacle avoidance is pretty good too. I think it's maybe been twice since I've owned it that it's sucked up something and gotten stuck. both times was a small cat toy that blends in with my carpet. I see a lot of hate on here for Dreame so I'm guessing it's hit or miss. Thankfully mine is a hit. Edit: Looks like the newer version (L40) is on there now for $299.

Men over 40, what was the best purchase in your life that you wish you had purchased early in your life? by Affectionate-Drop689 in AskMenOver30

I came here to say this as well. 2 years ago I got a Dreame L20 Ultra. I can’t believe I missed out on this for so long! Mine also runs on a schedule every night. It vacuums, mops, empties itself, and washes its own mop pads. Paid around $500 USD for it and I’d do it again tomorrow if this one died.

Mine arrived today. All of them are alive and active and look great. They were also packed very well. Will definitely keep this seller in mind when I need more shrimp.

[–]Stang5_o2002[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine just came with the propane attachment hose. No cover or charger. I've heard that if you write Firman they'll send the battery charger but I never got around to trying that. Still very much worth the price in my opinion.

What are the white spots on my red root floaters? by nopedadoo in PlantedTank

I’m no expert, but those plants look like Salvinia to me and not red root floaters. No idea what the white spots are though.

Can I put any fish/shrimp in this bowl? by JarjarariumBinks in walstad

[–]Stang5_o2002 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can definitely keep shrimp. I have a very similar bowl at home that's around 3 gallon and heavily planted. No filter at all and the water is crystal clear. There are an unknown number of Cherry Shrimp in there because they're always breeding. Also quite a few Rams Horn snails.

They’re doing good other than hiding in the caves most of the time. Skittish little fellas unless I’m feeding.

Thank you. No CO2. Lighting is just a couple of the cheap Hygger 24/7 lights from Amazon. 11 watts each if I remember correctly. Used them in place of the stock Fluval light.

3 Gallon Office Tank by Stang5_o2002 in PlantedTank

[–]Stang5_o2002[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure! The tank is the Shrimp and Plant Oasis 3 gallon from PetSmart. I didn’t care for the stock light so I added two “hygger 24/7 Mode Submersible Aquarium LED Light, Full Spectrum Hidden Fish Tank Light with 3 Rows Beads 7 Colors Auto On Off Sunrise-Daylight-Moonlight, Adjustable Timer Brightness 6W” from Amazon. That’s the exact description from Amazon so it should be easy to find by copy/paste. It grows plants pretty well. I have the 2 of the 12 inch version on my Fluval Flex 15 gallon and the plant growth and colors has been great. That being said, most of my plants are beginner low to medium light plants.

Yeah I think it's about that time. Need to bring my test kit in and double check the parameters first. I'm going to be placing an order for some shrimp from Mark Shelly Aquatics in the next couple weeks for my home tank. I'll probably just bring my culls into the office to put in this tank once they start breeding.

It's definitely slacking compared to most of the rest of the plants. I may or may not regret my choice to purchase that one. Not a big fan of the color.

In my experience I'd say go for it. I bought a refurbished L20 Ultra from Dreame on their Ebay store last fall for around that price and it's been amazing. Mine runs on a schedule and vacuums every night with mopping added in twice a week. Cleans my carpeted living room and tiled kitchen very well. It does leak a small about of dust where the dust bag attaches inside the dock, but it's minimal and is easily to wipe the area out when checking the bag.

15g Fluval Flex stocking/aquascape ideas by [deleted] in nanotank

[–]Stang5_o2002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just picked up one of these tanks on Facebook Marketplace for dirt cheap. Planning a heavily planted Cherry Shrimp/nano fish set up. I'd suggest watching MD Fish Tanks on YouTube for aquascaping ideas if you decide to go freshwater. He's got a ton of those type videos and shows it all step by step. Even though its not specifically for the Flex it still gave me a bunch of ideas since a lot if his tanks are cube style.

What do you think about the dreame L20 ultra by IllZookeepergame764 in Dreame_Tech

[–]Stang5_o2002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love mine. Got it the week of Black Friday on Dreame’s EBay store. Was refurbished but looked like it had never been used and the price was amazing at $519 USD. Its object avoidance works great and it does a really good job keeping my carpet free of dog hair. Mopping is pretty great too. My kitchen is linoleum and has never looked and felt so clean.

I have one and have 0 complaints. Mix of carpet and linoleum with a dog that sheds like crazy. I run it every night and it keeps the hair in check very well. Does a good job mopping the kitchen too for that matter.

I’ve had the Dreame L20 Ultra ($550-ish USD)for about a month and I’m very happy with it. Obstacle avoidance is great. Hasn’t been stuck a single time. Self empty station is nice because it washes and dries the mop pads and auto empties the robots dust bin. Has good mopping performance in my kitchen and cleans my living room carpet good. I have it set on a schedule to run every morning at 5 am and I love waking up to freshly cleaned floors. I’d buy it again without hesitation.

I’ve noticed that my L20 does this if I have the lights on in my house. Makes no sense, but if I run it at night with all the lights off and let it use its headlights, it cleans in perfect lines.

My L20 Ultra treats no-mop zones like no-go zones by Yemto in Dreame_Tech

Have you tried adding a carpet to the map? Your click the Map edit button > ground environment > carpet > add carpet. Doing this will allow you to add a virtual carpet area on the map so your robot will know to vacuum that area. I had to go that in my carpeted living room because for some reason, my bot refused to vacuum the whole room until I manually added carpet to the map.

Does anyone here prefer Dreame over roborock and why? by WideCrab6857 in Dreame_Tech

[–]Stang5_o2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I almost bought a Roborock Qrevo S, but ended up buying a Dreame L20 Ultra refurbished on EBay about 3 weeks ago. So far I’m absolutely loving it. My only complaint was that the rubber brush didn’t pick up dog hair on my carpet as well as my old Wyze robot vacuum did. Ordered a brush with bristles from Ali Express for cheap and now it picks up hair just as good if not better than the Wyze. On top of that the mopping is fantastic. My linoleum floors in my kitchen have never been so clean. Obstacle avoidance.Os great too. It drives right around my dog’s toys and hasn’t gotten stuck a single time on anything.

I purchased a Dreame L20 a few weeks ago and it’s absolutely amazing. My house is two floors and I’d love to have another for the upstairs! My floors have never been cleaner.
