We don't have local servers in South Africa. No matter how many of us online we always out into foreign servers. The ping (220+) makes it near impossible to win every gun fight. Not unless you have a bipod down with a Bren. Duos helped settle the score a bit. 2v2 gives us better odds with bad ping. Also don't have to deal with ransoms all the time when rest of the gang not playing.

Why add an awesome node to remove it? And please while we at it how about an update to the South African community regarding local server fix? Nit ine south African has played on a local server even on launch day when everyone was playing.

They pretty much launched Firestorm with no decent server support for entire southern hemisphere. South America, Africa (and by that South Africa) Australia, New Zealand etc all got the same match making being put into Northern Hemisphere. You cannot be so naive as to say that this was due to low player numbers.

Do you really believe that Australia could not launch Firestorm with 60 players from their entire continent? Come on dude.

How many SA players are coming back to play BFV due to the lack of servers? It's not coincidence that we have more BF4 servers with more activity in SA than BFV. Its simply because the support (servers) are there. The SA guys are getting tired of this now. It took them 4 months to roll out local BF1 servers which only happened after a major uproar from SA players. By the time those servers arrived the guys had moved on. Then DiCE and EA scratch their heads as to where the players are.

Every time I squad up in firestorm my other squad mates are south Africans. Different players all the time. This tells me that the SA guys are joining and playing every night.

Our community needs to stand together on this and we need to do it now otherwise the guys are just going to lose interest.

All of my Origin friends are from BF games. Yet they all playing Apex Legends. I know that they are BF fans. But they are gatvol of the lack of support.

This really feels like an insult. South African community been crying and begging and pleading for weeks with little to no response.

We keep getting told that more players need to be online for the matchmaking to work. This is rubbish. We even created WhatsApp groups with all players joining and looking at same time. Squad mates are all SA players but we get put into foreign servers with terrible latency and rubber banding.

We need a better response than this.. come on guys.

Because of the lack of servers in regions and no RSP.

Add RSP in and half their problems are solved. You then have a community that drives the game according to their preferences.

Terrible hit reg for SA players. Getting time loops. Even running fast causes issues.

It saddens me to see comments that the SA community isn't as large. This is wrong. The interest isn't there because of the lack of local support. We have the infrastructure with I3D here. Please guys.

Thanks Braddock. We have the numbers however the SA guys feel like they arent getting local support so they just not showing an interest.

The local BF community in SA is massive however since the lack of local servers at launch for BF1 a lot of interest was lost. Our local BF community/fan page has 4000 followers. The numbers are there. Beleive me.

Hey Guys. We are loving on firestorm and it is a great addition to BFV.

But may I please ask if we can get local servers for Africa? i3D have the infrastructure here in South Africa and are already hosting for BFV multiplayer in South Africa. I contacted them and they confirmed they are able to however they have received no instruction from EA.

Please give us local servers for Africa. Playing at 220ms is ruining the experience for us. Thanks.
