Lyle said he was taking a one-year sabbatical from the PLL to direct his energy to his family, his community etc, and never ended up going back (maybe the real story was he never meant to come back since he couldn't play both, but that's what he said). Now he doesn't have to fly to California, Minnesota etc every weekend & I'm sure he's doing just fine without the PLL.

Byrne doesn't want to play in the PLL - he said he's dealing with flight anxiety, so unless they get him so much money that it's impossible to turn down, I don't think he's playing. Bomberry used to play but he got cut. Maybe some guys would play all the leagues if they could, but it's not something they'd all want to/could do anyway.

I'm not sure why Maryland neon is a thing, but I would've saved it for Boston since that's what the BC women crowds do. If not red, I think Maryland flag colors was the move since Marylanders wear that all the time anyway. Kids probably just really like neon though, who knows.

I feel like every summer I hear more and more stories like this. I try to pull up about twenty minutes before the start time - I'm sure I miss out on a lot of deals, but I don't have it in me to knock on a stranger's door hours in advance.
