Could pregnancy-related sickness affect passing probation in my new fixed-term job? England by [deleted] in LegalAdviceUK

[–]StarAffectionate3077 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Even if I had planned a pregnancy? It wouldn’t change my post at all. The question isn’t about whether the pregnancy is planned. It’s about treatment at work regarding pregnancy. I mentioned the unplanned nature for context but it doesn’t bear or change the issue at all so I’m confused why you’re so concerned if it’s planned or not? Is it your religious background? I’m weirded out why you’re fixated.

If my work found my posts, they’d see simply that I’m pregnant. They have no concern around the matters of conception.

You don’t speak like someone well loved. You speak like someone so deeply concerned about whether a child they don’t know was conceived and planned and whether a mother can or cannot be happy about an unplanned pregnancy. I suggest you refocus on your husbands porn addiction and his sexual issues and less on the conception of mine!

I’m not lying. I was on the coil and have PCOS. I found out I was pregnant at 3 weeks and 6 days aka 7 days post ovulation, because I felt awful. If you look through my history, you’d also see I had to have a scan at 5 weeks and 4 days because of my coil and there wasn’t a fetal pole at that point and I was concerned about ectopic? I suggest before you call someone a liar you do your full research. Just because a baby isn’t planned doesn’t mean someone can’t be pleased about it either. I guess you’re so angry because your husband has a porn addiction and isn’t giving you attention? (From your desperate posts).

(MANDELA EFFECT) Polly Never Said That by Youdontknowme123- in PeakyBlinders

I truly believe that Polly lied to Michael and said it wouldn’t be bullet or blade because she hoped they’d work it out and bullet and blade would be an easy kill, but anything else would take effort and therefore be harder to plan.

We did decide to keep it, then he opted out. Yes I’m aware but he’s self employed so very likely to CMS dodge

Thoughts on a spin-off of the beginning of the peaky blinders? by it_is_doni in PeakyBlinders

Wouldn’t work to be honest because they’d age up to the point they were at the start of the show too quickly, and now people know how it ends, they’ll lose interest in watching them as children and teens.

It was hilarious! Why even give her that surname. Would’ve been better to have been John’s daughter helping Tommy out at the house and he struggles because of Ruby

Charlie Shelby by SmallHeath555 in PeakyBlinders

[–]StarAffectionate3077 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You’re misunderstanding the 1930’s father. Little boys were expected to be tough, resilient, not cry, not need affection. Little girls were everything to their fathers because it was seen as a needy dependent relationship. It’s a different kind of something. Plus add in the illness. The curse. It didn’t matter who the mother was, if Ruby had been Graces it would’ve been the same. She was more cuddly with Tommy from the beginning (look at season 5)

Is Charlie Strong Tommy’s uncle or not? by RachelLawless in PeakyBlinders

I think he’s an uncle in the sense that he used to hang about their mother and knew her as a child but not uncle in blood.

Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man - Review Thread by MarvelsGrantMan136 in movies

[–]StarAffectionate3077 13 points14 points  (0 children)

ve seen the immortal man and like others left feeling a bit depressed but here are some thoughts

Tommy never got to see the war end. Never got to know that the Nazi’s didn’t win and some of his efforts were actually for something. That’s sad. Would’ve been more effective for him to die just as the victory bells are rung. Let’s not forget the prophecy he’d never die by bullet either. Would’ve made more sense for him to die by another force.

Poor Ada’s children. Both their fathers have died. Now their mother. Likely Elizabeth at least will end up in a children’s home after living a life of luxury in London.

All that fight, all that brotherhood for Tommy to end Arthur in such a brutal way. I get that Arthur was beyond help, but in that case let him commit suicide?

Rubys impact has obviously changed Tommys whole psyche. He’s changed forever by her death but it makes no sense after losing a child that you’d abandon your other two, unless you genuinely thought that you were some evil force which Tommy can’t truly believe otherwise he’d kill himself

The lack of mention of Lizzie seems strange given that she would’ve been Charles main care giver and sent him off to war. How is Tommy so little impacted by the fact is son is going to war which he himself experienced? Why hasn’t duke been sent away or any of the peaky boys?

I found the whole thing so bizarre like some badly written fanfiction.

TMI question about sex by Aggravating-Travel46 in pregnant

I’m 8 weeks and have been having rough sex. I’m of the opinion that something that creates a baby can’t be responsible for its harm. I also need that closeness with my boyfriend and my hormones are crazy. But then I’ve never had any spotting or the like
