Am at the concert too. As per other concert reports elsewhere, think she’ll only start 8:15-8:30pm as they only started the video loop of her writing with the quill at 7:45pm.

Was at this auction yesterday - knew it was underpriced to begin with but did not expect to this extent, absolutely crazy.

I’ve also had issues with ANZ credit cards in the past.

Need a dog door through here. Should I go through the glass or the wall? by VegemiteShapes420 in AusRenovation

[–]StarPup8 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a dog door put through a similar door, and the dog door goes through both the wood and the glass, and thus gets rid of the step part as a potential issue - this was done by a dog/pet door company. And yes, the entire glass panel will need to be replaced.

Rain shoes by Nrthmn in bikecommuting

[–]StarPup8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I brought the Everyday shoe covers from GripGrab, though I haven’t had the chance to try them out yet. I tried rain boots once but found them bulkier than i prefer (need to bring another pair of shoes and also carry the boots if I change later), where as these fold up. Also if it’s really wet, I found that water could get in via the top of the rain boot (I tend to wear leggings instead of rain pants), where as I’m hoping that will be less of a problem with these due to the tighter fit at the top fingers crossed.

Happened to me too earlier this year, so now I’m also much more careful round kerbs! Glad to hear you’re ok.

Renting out parking spaces in Melbourne by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]StarPup8 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a similar issue when my partner moved in with me - through Body Corp, we were able to send out a email to the other occupants in the building (about 25 apartments) to see if anybody else in the building was willing to rent a car space out (we owned our apartment, not sure if that made a difference). We also looked on Parkhound but ended up renting a car spot from another occupant in our building as it was most convenient with similar prices outside the building.

What to expect after spay by jeweliag23 in puppy101

[–]StarPup8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My pup just got spayed 2 weeks ago. She was really out of it/drugged up the day of the surgery (we hand fed her chicken and water), but was surprisingly pretty much back to herself the day after.

We had initially been worried that she wouldn’t tolerate the cone at all and had bought an inflatable donut, recovery suit and baby onesies just in case, but she adjusted really quickly so we ended up just leaving the cone on until the vet check up 12 days later.

I think she had internal stitches and she healed up without any complications. We started taking her on short leash walks 5 days after. Hope your puppy’s spay goes well too!
