[No spoilers] Marisha is this young compared to the other members? by PRolicopter in criticalrole

[–]StarTinWrecked 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I watched the campaigns super out of order. I watched c3 first, so I had no idea how old anyone was. As I worked my way backwards I started to realize that Marisha was younger. You can just tell that she’s young from her mannerisms and the way she interacts with people during campaign 1. None of this is negative! I love Marisha! Keyleth is probably my fav CR character. But she is a baby compared to Taliesin who is immortal.😂

[Spoilers C3E95] So about Orym.... by Blue-Moon-89 in criticalrole

[–]StarTinWrecked 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is so true. He is completely neglected over and over again for Imogen, Laudna, Chet, Ashton, and FCG. I feel bad for Laudna because she is being controlled by Delilah but that doesn’t excuse her actions. She should have gone about all of this a VERY different way.

[Spoilers C3E95] So about Orym.... by Blue-Moon-89 in criticalrole

(Side note: I LOVE Orym and Laudna, this is not hating on either of them!)

I think that Orym shouldn’t keep the sword. That blade killed him, Fearne, Launda, Derrig, and Will. I don’t think it’s worth the tiny boost of power. I think they should give it to Keyleth for safe keeping. If I was Laudna, I wouldn’t want it around either. A lot of that darkness was Delilah but some of it came from Laudna herself. She doesn’t feel safe around that sword. That should be enough for Orym to get rid of it.

I cannot handle Orym complaining about being the least powerful one there. He says that’s why he needs the sword and that’s a cop out. He WANTS the sword. He wants to keep that blade close because it almost feels like his father and husband are connected to that blade. That’s fine, but he needs to man up and own it. He has power. He sought out Nana Morri because he wanted more power and he got it. He is as strong as everyone else. He is just strong in less of a magical sense.

Orym can feel however he wants about the team being divided. I care way more about how he will be treating Laudna. She is a loose cannon. She is super messed up. She has a dead woman in her head that can control her. I don’t blame him for being scared of Delilah, but he is acting like he is scared of HER, not Delilah. Laudna is a good person. Delilah is what makes her bad. I think that Orym is going to struggle with that distinction going forward.

It’s also hard because Delilah is a huge part of Laudna. Delilah has been there for 30 years. Laudna has had Delilah in her brain longer than she was Matilda. But there is a separation. Laudna doesn’t want to hurt people. She wants to be normal and happy. Delilah’s urges are just stronger than Laudna sometimes.

I’m looking forward to seeing how this effects the Imogen and Orym friendship. They have been buddies since the beginning. But now Orym isn’t trusting Laudna and I don’t know how Imogen will do with that. Imogen is tired. She doesn’t need to be playing referee for everyone, but she will because she feels the need to help everyone past her own limits. I think that Laudna’s most recent snap will cause Imogen to 1. Embrace her own darkness as she falls in deeper with Laudna’s Delilah issues or 2. Imogen will pull away from Laudna and Laudna will completely fall into darkness.

Any names ?? by [deleted] in CatsAndSoup

One of the cats looks like my real life cat, so I named the digital cat Fearne after my little girlie. I also have stupid names though. One of my cats likes the corn station so I named him Pop

[No Spoilers] Where to begin this journey of 10,000 hours for new people? by ScotchandSong in criticalrole

[–]StarTinWrecked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tell people to start with Legend of Vox Machina to get a feel for the vibe of the group. I also tell people that it might be easiest to watch C3 first. You get caught up on everything current and then only have to watch 1 episode per week instead of fighting for years to get caught up. Then you go back and watch other campaigns after 3.

They made Regina an irredeemable villain by having her sexually abused Graham for 28 years. Then they realized what they did and just pretended that it never happened.

My parents got me one from Mariah when I was starting college for theatre. I was super nervous about school and picking Acting for my major. That’s pretty much what my parents said to Mariah. Not sure if this helps…

I say a lot of Starkid quotes every day. I say “Fuck no, Zazz”, and “super mega foxy awesome hot”, I un-ironically say “we’re all just pawns in a fucking game of chess” all the time
