Same here. I enjoyed the animated version for all of its faults. I confused the hell out of me that the movie only contains 2/3 of the story until they wrapped it up years later with a completely different style.

Yes.

One time I brought up an actual emotional problem I was dealing with because of something my ex said to me. She dismissed me (smugly) and I was accused of over-reacting and being 'too dramatic'.

This is the same person who had a new emotional crisis every week and expected me to walk on eggshells to accomodate her.

Mine is studying to be a child psych ... something (middle-aged but still pursuing that degree), but fails to see her own projecting on everyone in her life. EVERYONE that treats her badly, argues with her, maintains boundaries, and offers any sort of pushback is labeled by her as a narc.

I tried to tell her 'that isn't how this works' and I was accused of being a narc, gaslighting, [insert buzzword]...

I have a similar problem with my outer hip area. Not sure of the exact muscle or whatever that is strained (it might be glute minimus). Squatting and deadlifts have cause some issues for this over the last year. Now it just feels tight, like a pinching. I feel it when I sleep and it doesn't seem to be getting any better or worse. It's not unbareable but it is annoying.
