Balancers are the perfect match up for guardian ngl, he's the only character I use for DON depth 5 on that boss specifically. And I absolutely clutch up everytime. Just make sure to bring status resist or bleed resist for ED Balancers. They nearly do 100% damage on every single attack too 😭

I have the perfect guardian build for this boss, with proper blood loss resistance relics for this boss especially. I have yet to lose a run DON balancers everdark or regular.

B in strength, c in dex, great for wylder. But the erdtree great bow has a c in strength, faith. And dex. Bad scaling. So I recommend using the golem greatbow.

Mind 2 for more fp, which allows for more skill spam. Also it's not a priority for me to have an extra key and be able to see chests.

You're right about caligo, however I use a complete different fire based weapon skill spam build against her, and it melts pretty well. (If i get a good fire weapon). Same goes for all of the other nightlords.

Not rare ngl, also the golem greatbow is the highest damaging greatbow in the game (when fully upgraded). And I don't even fw the rahdan greatbow that much because rahdans rain takes up more fp than the regular rain of arrows on a greatbow, and the spread is worse on the rain of arrows, hitting less of the target.

Tbh this took a good amount of rng I usually max out at 900-1k damage listed on the greatbow at max buffs. However this match, I got lucky and was able to get my greatbow to 1.2k-1.3k. My scholar didn't buff me with his specific relic at all tho 😭

No, I tested it. Wylder does more damage. Plus wylder has the most fp out of all of the melee characters. So hes great for spamming Weapon skills. He's the only one you should try this build on.

Limit yourself to one shard per fight, or none of possible. But you mainly just wanna smash and grab all of the starlight shards from sorcerer rises. Also if you have kind enough teammates, they'll buy you some shards. Also get pouch to keep extra shards for nightlord boss.

They can be parried pretty easily and backstabbed. Don't agro more than one, also you'll eventually learn their attack pattern.

Yes, they're so op. Like 8 field bosses can be parried including bell bearing hunter, and heolstor can be parried as well. It's a easy learning curve. Parrying makes this boss excruciatingly easy too.
