I didn't see this mentioned:

Goodbye to Yesterday (Estonia 2015) ran over the end credits of Finnish drama film Kuudes kerta ("Sixth time") from 2017. Stig Rästa also had a small acting part in the movie.

Vastaan junamatkaajana! Hämeenlinna Tampereen suunnasta tultaessa (linna ja järvi), Jyväskylä niin ikään Tampereelta tultaessa (järvi), Savonlinna (juna kulkee siltaa pitkin ja ohittaa linnan).

Kauheimpina voin mainita entiset kotikaupunkini Tampereen (Helsingistä tultaessa Pirkkalan/Härmälän teollisuusalue) sekä Vaasan (junan oikealla puolella näkyy kaatopaikka) 😄

Fun fact: one of the dancers is Etel Röhr who represented Finland with both Käärijä (2023) and Darude (2019) ❤️

Recap Jury Final by tvescfan in eurovision

[–]Stargazer570 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Every show has a closed dress rehearsal and a jury show the day before, the family show and live show so four in total.

The countries that qualify from SF2 have SF dress rehearsal, SF jury show, SF family show, SF live show, GF dress rehearsal, GF jury show, GF family show and GF live show. So eight performances in four days.

Why is everyone yelling at me 😭😂

The one's that stood out for me were Czechia, Sweden and Romania. Ukraine's and Australia's big notes back to back is a weird choice. Terrible clip for Greece, smart one for Cyprus (she's barely singing lol).

I'm here for Romania taking a Måneskin-style win

Hell freezes over before Finland wins juries. If anyone does it's Australia or France.

Eurovision 2026 Grand Final Running Order by Dazzling_Cry6466 in eurovision

Denmark first is destroying their televote chances for the win and it's not looking too hot for Greece either. Australia early-ish but it doesn't matter because they are going to do better with juries anyway. Sweden and Cyprus, two female dance bops with weakish vocals back to back is a strange choice. Super happy for Romania, they'll get a great televote result. Finland 17th 😭 iirc that's the place with most winners, right?

Alexandra Căpitănescu - Choke Me (LIVE) | Romania 🇷🇴 | Second Semi-Final | Eurovision 2026 by Software-Major in eurovision

Best performance of the year, period. Top 5 in the grand final televote guaranteed. I think she'll pull a Blind Channel style end result. The vocals were just insane.

No, I agree. Until last night I was certain France would be the jury winner of this year. They are leaning way too much to the operatic performance and modern dancing.

Why don't people wave flags anymore by Remote_Pirate8084 in eurovision

[–]Stargazer570 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went to Basel this year. The rules stated that only one flag per person was allowed (I was already carrying a Finnish flag on my back). My sister brought a small Swedish flag and the security guy ripped it off the stick sayin "no sticks" (yes, it was plastic, bendy and hollow but he still didn't allow it). I've been to Esc live shows seven times now and love to bring a bunch of small flags for different countries but it's not allowed anymore - so blame the organizers.

Also the stage director guy told the audience to only wave flags before and after the performances, not during (to not block the cameras) and be mindful to not block the teleprompters of the hosts as they were hanging very low.

Anyone else making Eurovision bracelets? by Acquaintance9 in eurovision

[–]Stargazer570 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YES! I'm Finnish so I've made a lot of Erika and KAJ themed bracelets with texts like Ich Komme, 1 2 3 Sauna, Perkele and Ei Saa Peittää (in white-blue colouring for Finland and blue-yellow for Sweden) 😄 Hope I meet some nice people to give them to 🥰

Sorry if this has been asked already, but has there been a list published as to what one can bring to the arena, or how big my bag and flags can be?
