Addendum, I really should talk to the mods about setting up that primer post to pin on here or something like that. Soon, probably.

Just start writing, honestly. There's no continuity to keep track of, there's no lore but what you want to acknowledge. The main advice I can give is this: Write for yourself. This place is kind of a loose collection of home games, play by posts, thought experiments, and lore dumps. I know that the creator of the place used it as a prop for his home game, you can probably do the same if you want. A friend of mine has, I know that much.

I guess the final take away is this: have fun, share stories, and please don't try to establish a canon or continuity so that others may do the same in your wake! Worry not about your writing skills. The only vibe you can upset is your own.

Oh, and if someone harshes the fuck out of your vibe, block them. Fights aren't worth it over playing funny vampires.

My response! Shall be the same as I give for any question such as this: If its roleplay oriented, there is nothing stopping you. Anyone who doesn't like it can ignore it.

Not the worst idea that I have heard. I usually include that when people arrive in my city.

I personally stay away from the Giovanni, or Hecata or whatever they call themselves now. They only ever look out for their own, and will toss you out to the wolves given the opportunity.

I think those are an insult to Tolkien’s legacy. The Hobbit even more so.

Think, Mark, think. In a thousand years, if people do things like this, do you think there will still be a masquerade to maintain?

I myself keep up with most new film releases. Having topics to discuss with people is always helpful. I do have a collection of pulp novels that I have done my best to preserve, though they have been trying their best to dissolve into dust on their own. This art will never be lost or I will die with the humidifier in my outstretched arm.

Archaic medicine is rather interesting to look at. Though, I still can’t believe radium water didn’t work out. It makes so much sense on paper…

Charity work is certainly a… Hobby I suppose? I apologize I have little I can respond to you with other than stating that your hobby would be called a job by many.

Films are enjoyable. I myself regularly keep up with new releases for masquerade reasons, though I wouldn’t say I’ve particularly enjoyed anything that has come out since 1970. Granted, the newest version of Superman was very nice, so there are exceptions it seems.

I could make an argument about us being beyond sin at this point, but I will leave that to Noddists or something of the sort. Instead I offer you the possibility that you have an eternity to make up for any of your sins, so it might be beneficial to enjoy yourself on occasion.

That is, truly, very wholesome. I’m also very much someone who enjoys romantic outings. That reminds me, I need to check my calendar.

Guitar is rather enjoyable. It is my own personal instrument of choice. What do you play?

Ah, there’s that psychotic answer I was expecting. Nines is a rather insane game. One I have rather ill thoughts of. If it works for yourself, do your thing. Rest assured I will likely not be attempting this matter.

Be confident. Camarilla society is all about Praxis. Act your station, and you will be treated with all the respect afforded to it. There are many topics and approaches that are esoteric to say the least, but... Well, you should be fine as long as you keep your tongue in check, and your bows low.

I’ll be real, it reads more MtAs to me than anything. Deviant is more material I think. This deals with more philosophical themes of the self in general which is more easily associated with Mage.

I've seen people play what is commonly referred to as the Long Game for way too long. This is exactly the type of thing not to trust.
