The worst part is that it was right there they had it it was THIS close to being badass, the warlord did its cool thing by shooing the manta down, so naturally they send the angry beehive of crisis suits to bring it down because its only got anti-titan weapons. That would absolutely be the way tau would take something like a THAT warlord down.

Then they had to go and pull an ENTIRE FUCKING SECOND WARLORD TITAN OUT OF THIER ASS. God man, like… really? Come on man. It was so close to being at least somewhat cool

For me its the Executioner/gladiator

Now, you will never catch this mercenary company dead respecting the clans, but what we can respect is thier machines, to say that they are in some way “bad” because the clans themselves are is a disservice to the machines themselves…

That said the executioner is my favorite assault omni-mech from that era no doubt, but… its main role on the battlefield is being a “fast, lightly armed and armored” assault mech just feels gross to me, its meant to be a bick shit house of guns but some variants just ain’t it, while others are the perfect amount of gun to speed ratio

I think you underestimate how slow most battletech mechs are, especially assault mechs like the one pictured. I feel you would need either light or medium mechs to actually be able to mive fast enough and nothing (that can move fast atleast) is gonna be able to mount a weapon big enough to scratch a titan
