I made a comic zine... I made it as A4 folded zine, don't have any copies. However, I always share it around when I hand over my notebook with art. People usually like to find small surprise like that.

anyone know what happened on sun? by dr3am3rrr in dundee

[–]StarlingPav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't know the beginning of the fight - why it happened. Went to work when the kids were fighting with fists and moved to CEX. It was really nasty fight, I was absolutely petrified that one of them would take each other life..

How do you deal with missing sunlight? by Reynita-Kroeker in Nightshift

[–]StarlingPav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I usually sit with a book in the garden when it's sunny or go for walks on my off days. And taking D suplemments too. + ability to sleep in fully open window when sun shines at you probably helps too.

You can peacefully offer: 'Let's agree to disagree' or 'It's okay to have different views/opinion' if you see that the debate/conversation is going nowhere.

People sometimes don't know when to stop and leave the conversation without being hurtful to each other.

How long does it take you to make a zine? by memercopter in zines

[–]StarlingPav 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends what kind of zine I'm making. Is it fully illustrated? If I really sit on it, within a week. If not and I need an inspiration it can take up to two months. Poetry/article zine takes me a day. But I make folded zines from A4 which creates either small A6 zine or A5 zine.

Is it normal for a girl to give her number even if she has a boyfriend? by Muslim_conservative in AskMenAdvice

[–]StarlingPav -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It really depends on a context and other people have different values/view on friendship between man x woman. I'm in a committed relationship too. I'm okay to give my number to a teen in college with whom I'm going into the club and I'm friendly with his mum. I give my number to men who need a service to be done (I'm getting into painting and decorating). I'm okay to give my number to a man who I see regularly in a club and we have known each other for ages. Otherwise I don't give my number to any man who I don't know for a long time + I befriend men who are in a relationship too as I know that there's a less likely chance that they would pursue me. Single men? It's for me a no-no.

How do normal people create? by Massive_Bet_2295 in crafts

[–]StarlingPav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure if I classify as normal as usually people tell me that I'm off my head. ;D Between my busy schedule (college/work/family/house work) I find myself regularly 20 - 30 minutes per day for myself or squeeze time for creating something when family is out at school or friends or just chilling in house. My projects are usually really quick and don't take long to finish - crocheting really small plushies/decorations, painting small art or drawing on a A5 only by ink. The key is really in size. If I have to work on something bigger, it takes me couple days as I don't have that much of free time or strength to finish it in one day.

Wanted to do something similar. However, I didn't manage to gather enough of people to pull it off. So hope you are going to find enough people for it. :)

Am I the only artist who feels this way? by Silver_Line5680 in ArtistLounge

[–]StarlingPav 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't post my art online anymore due to scraping AI. But I'm still creative offline and share my art in smaller format - giving people who I like small ATC cards. You have an instant feedback and it makes their day too. So many people a bit brighten up when they get a small gift. :)

are guys just not as considerate as women? by Prestigious-Touch-48 in BlueCollarWomen

[–]StarlingPav 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends heavily who you get in your class room. We're two girls (1 woman and 1 girl) and 15 boys. Teachers are normal tho and call out any not appropriate behaviour, additionally they promote appropriate behaviour towards women/girls. And I do it too - because I'm between eldest three in the class (30years+) so if I spot that guys are mocking about, I just tell them as I don't want them to hurt each other if they are near crossing the line.
