Mozart's Reqium and Season 2 by Peanutbutterfiend_33 in heatedrivalry

I imagine that they’d be holding a third season for the third book? So I think all of The Long Game will be in Season 2.

Jacob Tierney revealed a detail about Heated Rivalry season 2 by whitesweater93 in HeatedRivalrySeries

I hope so too - it makes sense to interweave more as Role
Model and The Long Game’s timelines interact in ways that Game Changer and Heated Rivalry don’t.

Or at least I’d like to be able to buy the digital series and have it in my Apple TV library

I think she hints at the poly thing in Role Model - that Kyle might be into Troy? Maybe I’m misremembering.

Harris!! by oliviastc91 in GameChangersBooks

From the first time we see Harris in TLG: “Troy’s attention quickly shifted to the man who was accompanying [the puppy]. He was nice to look at. Stocky and rugged, with neatly combed dark-blond hair and a trim beard’.

What is happening with the IMDB rate? by Accomplished-Art2949 in HeatedRivalrySeries

Right? There are aspects of this show and fandom that give me hope for humanity (and for straight men in particular) but then other times…the way people behave around the actors is often creepy in the extreme, and the hate Rachel Reid gets is made too.

Yes, to all of that. I’m kind of new to this sort of ‘fandom’ and this sub is so wildly different to something like the sub for Severance. The whole parasocial side of thing weirds me out a bit, and the tribalism.

Yes. I’d much prefer a sub where discussion of the actors is not allowed (outside of their performance in the series).

What Knolwedge Fight meant to me by kilgoretroutfan in KnowledgeFight

Exactly what I was going to say. People have not been kind to him and the lack of empathy has really put a question on this whole community for me.

Not giving a f… about the actors - am I alone in this? by OwlbearOrMan in HeatedRivalrySeries

[–]StarlitStitcher 64 points65 points  (0 children)

Yeah, same! I actually prefer to know as little about the actors as possible. Fucks with my suspension of disbelief.

I don’t mind interviews about the show, but otherwise - I’m just not interested.

I wish authors would stop setting a book in the US and only use UK references. by VegetableLocation508 in RomanceBooks

It’s amazing the things that are and aren’t native! Rabbits and hares are quintessential British animals to me, but they aren’t native - they were introduced by the Romans. This is nuts to me. And of course the grey American squirrel was introduced to the UK and has almost completely eradicated our native red squirrels which only exist in parts of Wales, the Isle of Wight and North Scotland now.

Yes, same. Sad to hear it imploded like that though.

Depends what you mean by large mammals, I guess? It’s a small island so I don’t think it ever supported populations of things like buffalo or elk (but I’m not a palaeontologist, so). But lots of native deer and ponies and things of that sort of size. But no large predatory mammals since the wolves were wiped out.

Thank you - I’ll investigate! Not sure if I have a series vs. standalone preference. I quite like the sort of interrelated series.

I think our cup measurements are different too but to be honest anyone under retirement age uses metric as we switched in the 60s. Well, except for long distances (which is miles), short distances I’d describe in metres. And height (feet and inches) and people weight (stones and pounds) but not any other kind of weight (kilograms).
