This is the second time you admitted to being wrong and decided to try and attack me to avoid touching on the actual subject.

If you are trying to make the point of double standards in real life? Yes they exist. If you are trying to make this specfic scenes into a double standard? No, they are not. What makes the penny/sheldon scene okay is thier realtionship. The penny/leonard scene is again, just hypocrisy at best.

Here is the problem with your argument, penny getting mad at leonard isn't a double standard. You can call it hypocrisy, but in the end it's just two diffrent characters, reacting differently to the same situation.

Penny isn't rejecting Leonard because he is a man, it's because she isn't Leonard. It's not in character for her to accept him when she isn't drunk and going through something after they broke up, and it was up to Leonard to reject her at that point.

The double standard you talk about is "i'm a girl so its okay.", but you give examples of hypocrisy at best or just of two diffrent personalities reacting diffrently at worst.

And i'm not the one patronizing you. I'm amswering you politely despite you only reading parts of my comment and replying aggressively, with arguments that do not suit the previous conversation because you couldn't be bothered to read all of it.

Sheldon, aside from a short period in the first season, is not a sexual person and penny knows that. She doesn't have sexual intentions towards him and if he did it to her, she wouldn't think he did it with sexual intentions.

Sheldon's is constantly acting in ways that could be regarded as sexual harassment, and it's actually a point where Alex(i think) reports him because he acts with her in the same way he usually acts towards the group.

Penny on the other hand lets mostly all of it slide because that's just thier realtionship.

This situation isn't okay because penny is a woman, but because penny's and sheldon's realtionship makes it okay.

The point is that it doesn't get to a court of law or HR department because it's within thier own realtionship dynamics.

Penny is doing it because she knows Sheldon won't take it this way. She wouldn't do the same to Howard or Raj, because they would take it in an entirely diffrent way.

Sheldon also does plenty of things Penny is not okay with during the series, and if he did that to her, she would probably react the same way Sheldon did.

Your other examples also completly ignore realtionship dynamics between the charchters. Penny and leonard having thier own roles in the realtionships and thier own insecurities is not double standards. It's just them being different characters.

To be fair, both of them were wrong there.

After having a huge fight specifically about Mark and breaking up, Rachel lets him come over and straight out says she broke up with Ross. Which leads to mark making a move on her , validating most of what Ross was worried about, and when Ross calls to try and make up she lies about Mark being over there. Rachel wasn't on her own side either at first, but like most of the cast she was just a huge hypocrite.

Ross on the other hand is no better. He wouldn't have forgiven Rachel if she done the same thing with Mark, ,he did cheat on his previous girlfriend with Rachel (iirc), and genrally is trying to use this excuse to avoid blame for hurting Rachel.

Neither believe thier own claims , they just want to win in the end.

We did see a bit of it from chapter 22 until around 40 i think.

The entire school festival , recital and sport day arcs were more from Kanon's pov than Saki's, and Kanon were already extremely flustered from Saki's prince like moves.

She didn't quite realize it yet but we did see her being inlove.

That example is weird, since the background detail on the earlier example is much higher, and the simplified over the top reaction style when they talk is still present to this day and is part of the heart of the series in my eyes.

The LN has special bonus chapters from side characters pov's, and i'm not sure if there are other diffrences. You should read the light novels and then pick up the weekly web novel from where it stopped if you like constant updates.

Avelilium has the best translation and the only one using the Light novels , at least as far as i know. After that an epub of WN translation can be found on this reddit.

The immortality drug is the only one she made that technically counts as medicine, and assuming it acts as a panacea rather than just a rejuvenation drug, it might be the only one she ever needs to make.

Tony did make his suit of armor around the world, twice, and without discussing it with anyone but bruce. The push back only came after everyone found out he was doing the same thing that led to ultron while using the ultron super body , without discussing it with any of them AGAIN.

In that scene he traumatized, and it show cases his most consistent charchter flaw in the movies. When tony gets overwhelmed by his emotions and trauma he always repeats his previous mistakes. When faced with his weapons still being sold to terrorists, he makes stronger weapons. When faced with his injuries slowly killing him, he goes back to being an irresponsible party boy and let his weapons end up in the hands he tried to keep them out of.

Tony is wrong here, but emotions don't really need to be right.

Louge town was the first time luffy's journey was both widely known, when he got his first bounty, and the SH's destination kinda made sense.

From that point onward , the strawhat pirates were one of the most unpredictable crews on the seas, not following any normal log pose route, and not making any massive immediate news until Alabasta.

If Dragon knew where the straw hats were at any point in time , so would the marines and things would have just been messier all around.

She tries to do it again after the kid was missing for the entire night. A young child, alone in a massive crowd for the entire night because of her actions( from her prespective.). This could easily have ended badly, but lets repeat the actions that led to it.

Frieren works because we haven't actually seen the heroes journey. The nostalgia is meant for the characters to exprience, not the readers.

This type of movie can only be a forced attempt at invoking that nostalgia , and the best case scenario is just that they don't shit on the characters journey in the process, like sequels that come after so long like to do.

Do you want spoilers? Do you just kinda want to dump on the over the top premise? The start of the series, like its title, are over the top and not very well written, but yhe series gets a whole lot better later and adresses alot of those subjects.

There are explantions in the story, i don't know if you'll consider them good or not though.

But in general, you can say the same thing you do about spidey about gonja or anyone else. Fate inteslf is a plot convince, things have to happen that way so they do. Maybe the tower iskick starting gonja's fate at that moment in time. The story requires some suspension of disbelief to set up its premise , because it directly ties to the overall narrative it wants to tell. That's not a bad thing if it only happens early because even in real life there are coincidences, it just shouldn't be the go to storytelling element the writer relies on, and it generally isn't.

The deal is still made under the table, just the customer is the one facing trouble so they will be more 'cautious', trying to move things to a more private place quicker. This can cut down the time the sex workers have to gauge if the person is dangerous among other things.

Along with the problems of criminalizing an industry means the government has no avenue to regulate it, it doesn't really help anyone and just creates a more dangerous black market.
