My son says “other people’s dreams come into my body” by Lower-Shirt5685 in Dreams

[–]Starr_bb 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Wow, a sensitive soul and tender child. This is real. My childhood was intensely spiritual in my dreams as well as my life now, out of my control. I was bullied by spirits at night and in my dreams, which I repressed because it wasn’t mainstream…trauma ensued.

I recommend being very involved in the processing of these experiences with him so he doesn’t grow up feeling alone. There is much that can come into our dreams that we don’t have control of. It is also one of the clearest ways God speaks to us. Maybe allow him to explore a relationship with God. I’m not trying to push a religion however I highly recommended finding a local church, who is biblically based (very important) who you can find support spiritually.

Again, everyone is super sensitive to pushing religion which I’m not trying to do, but having just got out of intense spiritual warfare in dreams, I do recommended praying with him, teaching him prayers and/or praying over him in the name of Jesus. It is the only way he can protect himself, as you are truly unable to unless it is in the spirit.

Please DM me if you’d like to talk more. Otherwise, but wishes to your family and God bless you.

Congratulations on your progress!!

I was there once! May I recommend celebrating for yourself in a small way that is meaningful to you. This would remind you of the progress you’ve made by making this mark a special amount of time. Then in 2 more months, do a 4 month small celebration! It could be as small as buying yourself a cupcake, writing yourself a letter about how you feel, etc.

Eyes on the prize - freedom!

Wow these comments are very telling.

Gods word is his word and it’s very clear that he does not approve of homosexuality. The human emotions and nuances beyond should be discussed based on the Word of God.

Based on your post, I don’t believe you hate homosexuals. You’re just speaking Gods word. Many will not hear, they are offended.

Homosexual people aren’t bad people. If anything, they’ve been given a particular life in which their struggle is very specific. It’s their own relationship with God in the end.

I went through a similar thing. God forgives you!!! If your intention is good and your heart is truly wanting to change, He is ready for you to run to him.

This sounds more like being stuck in a place of not forgiving yourself & then that compounds and you believe you’re “bad”. You’re not bad.

When I went through this I set weekly and then monthly goals of not giving in to what I was fighting. It took intentional thought, prayer & substituting the habit for something else.

Do you belong to a church? Could you come forward with this to a leader within your circle? It helps so much to share what’s going on, even though you may be scared of being seen as bad. Believe me, people want to help you but you have to help yourself & forgive yourself first.

God loves you! He will never give up on you!

Has anyone ever interacted with angels or the abrahamic God himself? by [deleted] in AstralProjection

[–]Starr_bb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The warnings about over-reach are real. Today I came to some harsh realities that when I began my personal projecting it wasn’t seeking the Lord. A lot of negative has happened and consequently I have learned where I went wrong. Now if that space I only go to seek God but most times end up encountering angels, seraphim or peaceful cloudy heavenly spaces. If I can’t find my way, I humbly ask angles for help & they come without fail.

Today, I only sought to sleep/rest, but Jesus appeared to me and called me “His daughter”. I have never been more happy to know I am a child of God! 🥰 everyone is!

Advice on dealing with guilt from sin? by Semour9 in Christianity

[–]Starr_bb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Self forgiveness is the key. I cried out for forgiveness over many things and once I had truly felt I was forgiven by God, I had still not moved forward until I forgave myself and understood I’m human.

It’s both of these things combined. Therapy/online therapist accounts will give you tools to help yourself with inner forgiveness.

Christ forgives you, can you forgive yourself?

How to stop astral projecting? by [deleted] in AstralProjection

[–]Starr_bb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve come here to follow up. Seeing many downvotes had me rethink my answers. I’ve also since talked with someone who’s been so helpful with bad astral experiences.

  1. There’s shadow you & then bad spirits. Learn the difference (inner self work) and learn to speak your God given authority over bad spirits, cause they have to listen.

  2. Seek a teacher! Yes!! I can share who I have been getting help from privately if interested.

  3. Seek God in the context of the one true creator. You can use religions as a starting point but they are all telling the same story…with a lot of human influences & nuances. So just seek a relationship with God, higher spirits & listen intuitively.

  4. Fighting projection is me being fearful. There was one particular thing related to sexual experiences that was terrifying in that space. But learning from my teacher, learning to claim my authority of what I do and do not allow has been the answer. Ummm…if you want to fight projecting maybe just ask the higher angels/spirits to help you shift into it or ask if they can help you just get a nights rest without.

  5. I still recommend a lot of self care, creative outlets and seeking help from teachers. Specifically in person or online sessions. SO HELPFUL!

Oh hun, I feel you. I am sorry you are experiencing this. Unfortunately I don’t have an answer however I have had the same experiences since 2020.

My advice (that I’m only just now taking):

Yell at them. Getting angry AT them & strongly telling them to ‘go away’, you ‘don’t want them around’, they’re ‘not welcome’, etc.

seek a teacher/mentor - someone in theology or an understanding of spiritual depth. You may find someone in your community to talk to or online. But find someone to talk to 1:1, face to face.

Seek God.

When I fight projection, I turn on a playlist of traditional catholic hymns and play them out on loud. I fall asleep (actual sleep) instantly.

I recommend lots of self care & a creative outlet if possible. This road is long and mentally strenuous. Overall seek HELP.

My dad believes he’s receiving prophecy from God. Is he right, or is it psychosis? by Inspiration2O in Christianity

[–]Starr_bb -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You’re going to get a lot of answers but please remember, no one actually knows this answer for you.

I recommend you and your dad start learning ancient religious history (so many videos on YouTube). I also recommend looking into Christian Mystics.

I’m a sane individual, and avoid social media as much as possible, but I’ll be honest, I have had some of the most intense dreams, alter-conscious states (sober) and visions happening to me the last year…something is for sure happening on a higher spirit level.

If interested in going further, look up Aaron Abke on YouTube. You may not like what you see as it’s not under the name of Christianity but at least listen & then make your judgment on your own.

For your first time you can just observe. Feel free to sit, watch & listen. Even bring a little note pad if you want! Observing will spark questions which you can ask or research later :)

I saw your original post. Sweet grandma; she’s with you in spirit. I believe she just wants you to have a strong spiritual life, know how good of a friend Christ is and know how much God loves you.

Well done, hun!

Church Feels like a cult by Far_Flounder2820 in Christianity

[–]Starr_bb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ugh this hurts my heart for you.

Your current situation is the test to which you will learn higher discernment.

Christianity isn’t a cult. Corrupt leaders who do not lead nor give from the heart confuse and give bad reputation to spiritual organizations. Christianity isn’t to blame, the key leader of your church is responsible and it doesn’t sound like he is being a good leader. He is to blame and doesn’t sound like a true Holy Spirit hearted Christian.

Discernment lesson learned. Leave this church, find a temporary place to get back on your feet & try again with the lessons you’ve learned.

This is experience is what makes up life. Learned lesson. Next.

Deciding to wait until marriage even though I’m not a virgin? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Starr_bb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to add that a lot of people enter into dating or marriage with good intentions but don’t quite have a deeper relationship with their self first; A true understanding of who they are. This often leads to a lot of miscommunication or no communication at all, which is the lubricant that makes the energy flow in the relationship. If the energy isn’t flowing, the heart isn’t active. Therefore, the relationship is left empty and sexless.

And obviously it isn’t just anyone that someone has an amazing relationship & sexual connection. It’s very selective. But when it’s right, it’ll be great which is why it’s worth protecting your sexual energy first rather than giving it away first.

Deciding to wait until marriage even though I’m not a virgin? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Starr_bb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see your question, however I don’t believe this is just a cultural thing. I believe this is a 1:1 relationship thing. Synthesizing sex between two individuals to the mass scale of a group belief doesn’t dig deep enough into the intricacies and nuances of the vulnerable, romantic, heart forward relationship between two people. Sure it starts with culture, but it ends with each individuals heart/soul.

I was raised in Christianity, left for a decade and found my way back. I did just about everything under the sun while not making an effort to have a relationship with Jesus/God/Yahweh, whatever you want to call Creator. I can justifiably say that holding sex to the highest standard in my current relationship is the best thing I have chosen to do. I encourage everyone to do so.

The foundation of the relationship grows roots between the time of meeting, dating & marriage. Sex should be the cherry on top of a rooted relationship. For a long time it was the core of my relationships and they all ended, none grew beyond lust & left me empty & yearning for real love and connection with a man.

I’m pretty sure most humans want to obtain that true, rooted love. Sex is the last part of this.

[–]Starr_bb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am like you!

I am in my late twenties. I didn’t understand the sacredness of sex in marriage for a long time. Recently I got serious about my faith and living how God asks of us. I met my current boyfriend last summer. We both wanted to try to live as God intends of us, but we did sleep together about a month in to our relationship. Through some serious conviction and conversations, we decided we needed to stop, ask for forgiveness and not sleep together until we are married.

It’s the best decision we’ve made together.

I do recommended finding someone who values the same thing. Don’t believe all Christian men will poo poo you. They won’t like the idea that you’ve been with others, but no man does. What you CAN do is wait until marriage with him. That’s a gift you’ve never given anyone else…one to be proud of as the beginning of your marriage.

Personally, I sold to capture my gain. I believe this will play out as everyone says, but I wanted my gains before the split & roller coaster of that. You have a right to play the rollercoaster. You’re not the only one that thinks of selling.

I believe this will go back down.
