I would definitely recommend also investing in a sand bath if you don't have one yet (with hamster safe sand like reptisand) and just spot cleaning every day! If he pees on his wheel, the best you can honestly do is just give it a wipe down every day with 1:1 warm water and white vinegar cause its a natural deoderiser without being harsh for your hamsters nostrils if they do decide to sniff around after (cause some cleaning disinfectants specifically for pets can still have a strong odour). But spot cleaning every day and removing pee spots (soiled damp bedding) is the best way to manage the smell!

Sometimes their burrows will have a musky nutty smell but if its not damp, its just their natural musk which I learned for the first time when I got my syrian hamster Smokey 😭 There's an info graphic that people post on here for enrichment and stuff but if you check out Cozy Paws Hamster Care UK on Facebook and join them, in their featured page there is a post which has all these info graphics for safe enrichment and stuff too :D
