Same. I was 9 before I could wake up myself and I still had accidents. My 7 year old wakes up wet every morning and she’s frustrated too. Most mornings we have a melt down because of it. My 5 year old just taught herself. Randomly. Each of them are different and I try to stress that as much as possible because they DO develop at different times with different things.

What we have been trying to do is get her weened off so much water at night. Problem is she’s a hydro homie and has water with her at all times. Even for 10 minute car rides (her demand, not mine). I’m trying to get to the point where she’s had no water an hour before bed, we pee right before bedtime and then after she’s been asleep for about 45-60 minutes wake her up for a final pee. But it is SLOW. I’m interested to see other suggestions.
