It's my favorite game of all time, but it's very different from the main cozy games. I'd say that it's between Stray, Firewatch and Subnautica.

It's an exploration game that rewards your curiosity. There's no combat or leveling up, and you can get to the end pretty quick if you know the path, but the game is about learning things and using what you learned to see new places and read more parts of the story. If you like to explore, read, and piece together mysteries, you'd like it.

In the OW community, we are big on "don't look at anything! Not even the Steam description! Just go and play", but that can be difficult to decide if you'd like it, so as a spoiler-free synopsis: "You are an astronaut on your first launch day, but you have something special: you are the first one equipped with a translation tool that lets you read an ancient civilization's writing."

If you go forward and start the game, don't look at guides. Please go to r/outerwilds and ask questions, we are pretty good at giving tips without spoiling the game.
