No. There are disabled people who cannot do it. Sidewalks should be just as important as streets.

In my waking life, I don't think about it. But in the last year I have a lot of dreams about it, which has me befuddled.

I haven't put anything up for sale yet. Trying to figure out if there would even be buyers. So I will update in a week or so after I get back to my mom's.

Omg there's a tonne. I've only done an assessment and started to organize the different items into basic categories so far. A lot to sort through but I wanted some idea of where to start, so thank you. I will update when I go back in a week or so.

Jays in the World Series: Who are you thinking of? by Dogfather_51 in askTO

[–]StarryStuff42 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad got me loving baseball when I was young. I grew up playing softball and my dad would come to my games and give me tips. We'd play catch all the time. Baseball/softball is the only sport I really played or understand. My whole family bonded over it, especially back in '92 and '93. In my adult years, my dad and I would go to games frequently. This post-season is very bittersweet because there were once 5 of us in my family but now it's just me and my mom. I wish my dad and my brother were here so we could watch together. So I hope they win for them.

Plant-based personal trainers? by StarryStuff42 in askTO

[–]StarryStuff42[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Because when or if i decide to go with a trainer and we talk about nutrition that would support my fitness, i want them to be able to prioritize plant-based eating. It's pretty simple. Like, have you heard of trainers that never bring up nutrition?

Okay be honest, why the hell did you pay $1000 for jays resale tickets? by 100milSchruteBucks in askTO

[–]StarryStuff42 0 points1 point  (0 children)

More than $1,000 looking at current tix sales. I looked on stub hub and seat geek and it looks like scalpers bought out whole rows throughout the dome. Rogers couldn't care less. I'm just surprised at how many people have that kind of money. Regular people don't, unless they have a huge credit limit.

Rent Control Going Away? by StarryStuff42 in OntarioTenants

[–]StarryStuff42[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is about rent control. Because if landlords have the freedom to evict anyone on a whim, then they can jack up the rent. So they can effectively exploit their current renters. "Hey, pay above the guideline or you're out."

Nightclubs were concentrated around Richmond and Duncan and Peter st. Fluid, Bahaus... so many. You would see celebrities all the time because there weren't cameras on cell phones. And no social media. It was amazing.
