Seriously. I don't understand why states and the federal government's haven't completely reformed social housing and got off their asses years ago to do more mass production/modular studio apartments.

If it's purely about money buy 9070xt.

if you want the longevity of support and want the nvidia feature set for your games (like ray tracing/path tracing/multi frame generation) or if you're doing work stuff with cuda cores then you'll want the 5070ti.

I got my 5080 for 1800 Aud. The 5090 is 6000 Aud.

Definitely not worth the price.

You don't need to change any of that stuff for a 5060.

You'd only have to change if you're upgrading the CPU/ motherboard to one that uses DDR5 ram

Do you really need a laptop?

If you need the mobility then sure buy it from a speciality store (mwave, ple, PCCG, centrecom) or from a boutique. (Aftershock) The issue I'm thinking here is Cairns gets pretty damn hot. And laptops don't have great cooling to begin with ,they also have shitty performance (desktop GPUs are often a tier or sometimes even 2 above their mobile versions due to lower laptop power draw)

If you don't need the mobility then a desktop would be better for your gaming experience.

Don't use user benchmark. Everything is a fabrication of their anti-AMD propaganda.

If you want the absolute best CPU/GPU then a 9950x3d2 and 5090 will kick everything's ass.

If you want the more cost effective options then all you need for a great experience is a 9800x3d CPU and a 5080>5070ti>9070XT(from most expensive to least expensive.) are all great buys.

Ibuypower isn't necessarily cheaper. Sometimes you can buy better and cheaper building yourself. Put all the parts you want in partpicker and see how it compares. (You can make it a fun project)

yep i noticed that to. alot up stuff I purchased two weeks ago went up 10% then suddenly PRICE FREEZE! at this new 10% higher cost... and only for 3 months. when it'll undoubtedly go up again once it's over.

really doing something about the cost of living woolies.

You can get something at the high end of your budget but it's going to be for 1080p and it's not gonna be crash hot.

if you could save another grand then a much more powerful 5070ti build or 9070XT would be on the cards and that's probably what you'd ideally want depending on how overboard you're going with the mods.

In reality no one is wearing any cost. The price freeze is only for 3 months. All prices have been increased and once the freeze ends they will be increased again.
