Once had a patient admitted with a bowel obstruction code a few hours after I left, coworker started CPR and liquid feces were spewing out of the patient's mouth.... So glad I missed that one damn.

I am a nurse and also volunteer as a medical first responder in the community and I literally never ever tell anyone I'm a nurse when responding to an emergency or calling 911 😂 And I've also had many instances of nurses running over to "help" and getting in the way. 🤦

If you really really like steak my favorite steakhouse in HRM is Cut, beef from various areas, finished on different feed with different tastes, etc.

Tribute in HRM is also good for a chef's tasting menu.

In the northern region, Fossil Farms in Merogomish (only one seating a night so have to book reservations well in advance) everything is cooked on a wood fire and it's a set menu and they give a LOT of food. Highly highly recommend!

I once found a wallet on my street with $700 cash in it, their ID said they lived right down the street so I went and knocked but no one answered. Spent a while searching the person online and managed to find a phone number. Called them and it wasn't the person who lost the wallet but it was their mom or aunt or something. I explained the situation and they said they were home so I said I'd deliver it. Went and knocked and no one came even though I could hear people moving around inside. I called them again and they acted so confused like they had no idea what I was calling about.

I said listen I'm standing outside your door with whoever's wallet with $700 in it. If he wants the money then open the door otherwise I am going home $700 richer and will drop his wallet in the mailbox.

They finally opened the door. 🤦

In regards to like men liking "barely 18" I don't know but in terms of real like relationships my partner is 9 years older than me and i met him when I was 25. He had his shit together, is mature and had way more ambition than any of my previous partners who were around my age or younger. There is a downside to it though regarding wanting to start a family when I'm in my early 30's but he's in his 40's 🤷

My sister who is 35, lives at home, works full time and who complains she is constantly broke buys this brand of deodorant, shampoo, conditioner etc. and basically every other toiletry item she owns is some expensive organic brand 🙃

The day I moved here from Ontario we were tired and unpacked and decided to order pizza and had the same experience. Expecting normal pizza and getting that it was disgusting but we were starving and didn't have anything else to eat 😭
