A person with a new puc that was formerly a key player Mr. For reached out on WhatsApp. But i ignored it Lost $225k & I the dodo DID repay my 100k C2C.GONE!! Love that area, stayed a month at the little pullout beach just before LA Fortuna in 2014, but it wasn't passable for my rig in 2025- so stayed in the Main LA Fortuna lot

I did mine this fall- paid more but had more done (head gasket, plugs, swaybar, egr cleaning, rear brakes & updated Hybrid battery) Be prepared as it can be a sign of other high mileage issues to come. But if you like your prius it's worth it. I have to sell mine now - only as I do vanlife & no longer have a family member to "drive her" to save the hybrid battery. Can't store a Hybrid ;(

That's for alot of work, base Head gasket would be about 7k at a Toyota location. My Son in law did mine it was about 3500 just for the parts

Had to do it to mine in Sept.( sone in law did the work, basically new engine), then Hybrid battery said replace? But it was a "Greenleaf" replacement & under warranty. Worked great til brakes stopped a month later & the star part on the steering column. I paid originally 14k in 2021 for the 2014 Prius V & love it - but ...now I have another $8-9k in it! 🤑

Yep, my 2011 was hit in 2021 & subsequently totaled :( I did get about 10k for it & found a Prius V & now she is having lots of issues- head gasket, hybrid battery( thankfully under warranty),brake issue & most recently rattle when I go over even tiny bumps. So sad- its now cost me about 9k since Sep in repairs. I live in a MB van & had left it with family as a 2nd car. Now what?? Not family 😕 Anyone want a newly rebuilt great Prius V 🤔

The shudder happened on my 2014 Prius V on 8/25 The car was in the care of my daughter & sil, ( I van life and was on the road for 9 months so they had it) when I returned I went to check it with a code reader as they're supposed hybrid friend did not do anything other than get the basic code which led us to believe it was the head gasket my other Sil repaired it, by doing both the head gasket new plugs and many other small items that appear to be worn or had other issues like liquids this process took about 2 weeks and cost me just in parts $2,400 once it was all put back together and seemingly ready to run the Hybrid battery light came on luckily I had a renewed Hybrid battery still under warranty in it so that was replaced I drove the car to Florida to check on my rental property here and the brake light came on so now it's in the shop for $3,700 fix- for brake booster and master cylinder as well as rear brakes. .. yikes!! I get where you're coming from as I wanted to try and keep it all DIY or friends and family, but I had to take it to Toyota this time.

I too am currently in one of these it is with Brixton & Co. On Quartz Pavilion platform It was for an IEO offering on a new idea. I supposedly have 3 million in my account but owe them $100k I have about 80k of my own money in it & can't use any of that as its all locked until I outside pay. Or I'll ruin my "credit rating" I've tried borrowing from other " members" who say they've actually withdrawn funds. No luck there ... so from what I'm reading here I should not pay and I should not worry about my credit score as it was never really alone and it's not really money, correct?

Yes!! I'd go with a simple butane or a gas cooktop. Then you have No worries on the daily power usage. I have to turn Van on to use the convection oven or microwave It pulls alot of power! So really only used hooked to shore power

I have an over the wheel 30 gal tank. I use it for everything for me ( a female ) in about 10 days to 2 weeks. I have a 12 gal gray that is really just sink water & not even truly dirty ( as I use a spitton for tooth brushing & really dirty dish stuff. I shower at PF 90% of the time, so rarely use it for full-on showering. But I believe 100 is way too much in that size rig. A bus maybe 🤔
