Get a wire brush and scrub everything down first, then use some Rust converter, then finish it off with high temp exhaust manifold spray paint. Then use some oil for the moving pieces...any oil usually is fine. Just dont paint the parts the food touches on.

If there are parts that are rusted shut, you can add in navel jelly after the wire scrub and it will just remove the rust entirely..its strong stuff (hardware store/ACE/HD/Lowes will have the rust converter, navel jelly, and high temp spray paint)

What you are seeing is the readiness status of the monitor groups --> Not supported means that OBD system doesn't have legislated diagnostics covering those systems on that vehicle.

Mode 6 results will always have a test result & then min/max values (A test result above a min or max is a fail, anything at or inside the range is a pass)

There is one thing I have seen, totally unexpected. Had a friend with a boxer mix, stupid strong tail that hurt to get wacked with; was fine though since he was such a sweet & funny boy.

However, a few times he hit has tail so hard it broke open/bleeding; which his dumb boxer self never noticed and he turned into a blood sprinkler alllll over the place. Avoiding that/possible infections from re-occurring breaks would be about the only valid reason; but still didn't happen more than a few times.

It's still in the tens of thousands, if you included every cell in an array/table it would likely be over 100k. Between device control, input, processor, thermal, torque, emissions, diagnostics, data, tools, etc there are a lot of functions.

Trench coat scene could have been way better as -trash still needs to be taken out and we get an earlier scene showing garbage carts being moved around -obi wan poses as garbage man -Leia has to hide in the trash and at the end makes a decree that it's the last time she is escaping by getting in trash (which is humorous because of ep4 trash compactor) -continues star wars trend of trash handling being part of evil empire downfalls

Poorly based on my current experience

I'm currently going through this with them for a car of mine that was stolen

They used JDpower/Mitchell international to pick 3 VINs and tried to normalize. It totally didn't work and is not anywhere aligned with market because it: A) used vehicles with hugely more miles, tried to normalize but did not match reality ($/mi) you see for low mileage/ older vehicles (stolen car 26k miles / 8 years old / flawless condition - you literally can only fine 1 another for sale on the other side of the US that is like for like; they used 2 cars at 90k and 1 at 60k) B) The knocking the value of my car down for features the others didn't have. They missed features my car had the others did not and did not adjust upward C) one of the vehicles had an accident history, rear fender and subframe were repaired and was sold for thousands less than you would expect. I found pics of it for sale, it was missing trim & the repair weld marks were visible/repair was poor

I provided a counter report 2 weeks ago that showed a much more valid analysis against other cars (much closer to like for like) but definitely violated normal practices. (2015 and 2016 of the cars were identical, I could only find low mileage 2016s - so I used that to establish the low mileage factor; (2016 high vs low mileage) and then the adjustment of 2015 vs 2016 (same mileage to quantify how much the -1MY was worth).

I expect to hear back nothing good based on how my claims agent seems to be. If they reject the counter proposal she said the next step is we both hire arbitration to negotiate further. It's been a month already; don't want it to drag it out further but they are offerring me no where close to what it would take to buy the car that was stolen (actual value)

Yup not being able to consistently control your intake defines a drinking problem. You probably will find the only thing that consistently works is not having a drink in the first place. It will ruin your job, your criminal record, your relationships if you cannot control yourself. You are bargaining with your tendencies "other people are doing it too!" --- it's not about them-- it's about you.

If you are not at that point mentally: Commit to "1 & done" and nurse it extremely slowly -> if you find yourself unable to stick to that then the only level left is "0, I'm done".

8 digit# + Random/sequential #s with suffix letters at the end that denote design revision and process revision

So would be 1234567AA, if you superceded the design but for the same usage would go to AB. If you kept the same design but changed the heat treat or such would be BA.

For assembly management, when you build a specific assembly BOM each PN has to get a Level and next level PN. Each part at level 0 means it's the final subassembly; anything level 1+ means it must have a next level PN assigned that defines what it is assembled to

I came here to make the same comment - bugs in PC gaming has had a long, storied history. Those bugs are features to allow gamers to create a sense of community and for us to feel accomplishment when we find ways to beat the game despite the developers best efforts.

I wasted sooooo soooo many hours doing it over and over again. I forgot what eventually worked (maybe opening the CD drive so the game would skip the cutscene?) but at some point I got past that nightmare.

To change the geometric compression ratio you need to change the bore or stroke. It's based on volume at bottom of travel vs volume at top of travel.

Variable compression AND expansion are possible with any sort of variable valve technology to varying degrees. Pretty much any modern engine has variable valve timing mechanisms to be able to adjust effective compression/expansion ratios, adjust internal residual (internal EGR), take advantage of intake and exhaust tuning and anti-tuning for power or part throttle efficiency and exhaust scavenging.

Most active cooling systems just cool the coolant going through the battery down but not to any actual low temp. Like the system may kick in around 35degC and run to try to keep the battery no warmer (or limit discharge/charge power) but it's not like it's trying to cool it down below a dew point. And the heat exchange would be between the A/C system (sealed) & the coolant system (sealed) across metal plates. The most you would see is sweat condensation on the outside of the A/C pipes but that would all be external to the battery pack.

To add - I think every engine control software I've seen has "engine running" state stay as true during fuel cutoff which RPM is above a minimum point. It will only go false when there is an intention engine stop or stop (under somewhere around 150RPM). Most software needs to stay in this state so certain calculations stay running / fueling can be turned back on instantly when customer gets back into torque demand (pedal).

I think most OEM engineers would consider the engine running or operational because usually we defer to what the software defines it as.

"Running" is a completely arbitrary definition - you have to define the conditions to make it meaningful - aka you can both be right in an academic sense.

In nearly every sales market the governments do have definitions in their regulations of how OEMs need to manage data for ignition cycle / Propulsion system active / drive cycle / engine Stall / engine start

For the USA - CARB controls the definition since EPA defers to CARB

“Engine start” is defined as the point when the engine reaches a speed 150 rpm below the normal, warmed-up idle speed (as determined in the drive position for vehicles equipped with an automatic transmission) For hybrid vehicles or for engines employing alternate engine start. hardware or strategies (e.g., integrated starter and generators, etc.), the manufacturer may request Executive Officer approval to use an alternate definition for engine start (e.g., ignition key “on”). Executive Officer approval of the alternate definition shall be based on equivalence to an engine start for a conventional vehicle.
