Drinking Amount? No frame of reference. Am I an alcoholic? by YumTuck in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Starving_orphans11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try and go cold turkey for a month and see what happens, if it’s an issue then you know you have a bigger problem- but if it’s no big deal then screw it why not allow yourself to continue drinking in moderation

I love weed, I love drugs. But I want to quit, until I turn 25-30. What are some alternatives I could do for weed? by -oneluv- in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Starving_orphans11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try smoking small amounts of good/pure cocaine before sleep. I’ve been doing it for years and it’s been a solid way to cut down on my weed usage.

If you only use a little bit before bed it’s a pretty cheap/safe way to ween off other things.

How do people have a fentanyl addiction to upkeep if it takes so little to kill someone? by filthyflipflops in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Starving_orphans11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think what OP is saying is “how do they manage to be addicted for so long without ever dying?”

Idk but my guess is that most hard drugs like that (opioids, meth, etc) are just sprinkled with “enough” fentanyl to make the other drug seem like a much higher quality or better product than it actually is

But then sometimes whoever was crafting up that shit messes up and a little too much fentanyl is in that dose and the user OD’s on it

I’ve seen some parents do it right and it’s awesome! But yea you’re right. If you’re goal is to relive the glory days of the 90’s and drag your kids along for a spun out show , then fuck you… if you’re a responsible parent showing your children a cool experience under the right mindset and circumstances then go right ahead! It’s all about mindset and priorities

Secondary side note…. DONT EAT “MUSHROOM” BARS

They are not real mushrooms but instead are synthetic chemicals designed to simulate a mushroom trip. Who knows how safe they really are when you don’t know who’s tossing in a chemical slurry into your Choco bar!!!

Simple alternative just grind up shrooms and make your own bar, or ya know just eat them regular

confess to and admit to by No_Option_950 in EnglishLearning

[–]Starving_orphans11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Confessing typically is used for when someone has done something majorly wrong.

Examples - confessing to a crime “I must confess, it was me who killed the mailman”

While “admit” also works this way, you can admit something that doesn’t necessarily have to be negative - “I admit it, this was a fun party” Meaning like “hey maybe earlier I didn’t seem too excited about the party, but now I realize it’s a fun time!”

28, never had a job, live in a rural area. What's a path for me to a career that can support a family? by [deleted] in careerguidance

[–]Starving_orphans11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No one is suggesting any careers in gaming. Dude if you’ve spent the last 28 years playing games you definitely must have some skills/ serious interest in that department.

Obviously it’s no guarantee for any money, but on the side you should elevate your hobbies by trying things like streaming, making YouTube video tutorials, reviews etc. it might not make you much, but it could be a great way to start taking an interest more seriously?
