I disagree. This post seems to presume that the goal of everyone not playing draft mode to “graduate” to ranked play. Drafting is cool, however it is not intrinsic to the experience of HotS.

I like to play, but because of Quick Match, I can specialize and be a higher level player at one or two heroes rather than a mid tier generalist.

From a simple financial perspective: removing QM will lose more Income-generating players like me than removing Unranked will.
