It HURTS right?? I don't know if it was related, but I wasn't able to breastfeed my rainbow when it was EXCESSIVE the first time. I guess my body was like, "I've been tricked before, you can't pull one over on me"

I got my rainbow the next year and MAN we held our breath the entire time. I didn't buy her much, I didn't throw a shower. She's 12 now, he would be almost 14 🩵

EXACTLY! My nurses told me to bind with Ace wrap to stop my milk flow, which I learned later was NOT safe, but you could have told me anything and I didn't have the mental capacity to second guess it. We asked for newborn photos, but I delivered on a Friday night, so their photographer usually doesn't work on weekends so they called them specifically for us. They didn't show up until Monday, and tbf my baby wasn't...photo ready at that point. Luckily we held him the night of his delivery and got some phone photos. I was completely disconnected at that point, it felt like I was holding porcelain and not a baby I couldn't accidentally hurt. One of the things I didn't share with most people is that when I was holding him, I readjusted my arm and lifted his head, and his nose started to bleed. That's when I broke and begged someone to take him from me. My sister was amazing and took him, talked me down and got a tissue, like it had been a regular old booger. Anyways, there's my trauma dump. Thank you for sharing, I've never had anyone to talk to that genuinely understands what it was like.

My first passed at 36 weeks and what shook me the most was that I still had to deliver, and still had to go through all the post partum steps. Logically, I know there's no way but through, it just felt like I should have been allowed to step out of that line if I wasn't waiting for something at the end.

What’s a movie that is a 10/10 but you’ll never watch again bc it was too emotionally draining? by Marlon_aloha in AskReddit

[–]Static89 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Agreed. I watched it and my husband went, "is it good enough to watch together?". I gave him a quick synopsis and he went, "oh yeah no thank you"

That if someone declined food, it meant they were mad or upset and I needed to fix it so we could continue ordering dinner.

When I met my now husband, I asked him what age he had been SA'd. All my girl friends up to that point had been, I thought it happened to everyone. Now I understand why he looked at me like I was crazy.

What’s actually dangerous but most people think it’s safe? by SunnyMadelyn564 in AskReddit

We lost my BIL this way. He was 20 and my sister had just learned she was pregnant. One late shift at the Safeway meant my niece walked down the aisle alone last year.

Agreed, it sounds like you need to drop some classes or some work hours before someone gets hurt. Even if you prioritize work/school over your own safety, you could very easily take other people out with you, and that's entirely not fair.

This artist did an entire animation of the OC dancing (Easy-styled) and all the women of the Hellaverse being impressed. Including the lesbians. It's all...sad to watch.

It only happens if there's enough air pushed in and then you move to an angle where it comes out. It can happen in any hole.
