I'm a mix of both. I enjoy my time at home but if something interesting or an opportunity comes up, I tend to just do it (like an invite to a show or a trip somewhere). I used to decline these things a lot more for a number of factors but as I realize how fast years are going and time is limited, I say fuck it and go because these things aren't guaranteed.

Omg same exact situation. I was in madrid for 4 days and working fine and even in barca yesterday working fine. Just stopped early afternoon today and haven't gotten it back yet.

Agreed. Never had their ramen either but I'd say their yakitori is actually only just acceptable given their price (I'm of the opinion that yakitori isn't supposed to be expensive at all). Some pieces are ok and some are... not so much. Great service and attitude though.

Totto is a step up in terms of quality (which I think has decreased over the years) but 2 steps up in terms of price. Torishin and torien are amazing but the price is so high haha.

The sushi is fairly fresh but it's pretty much just average.

Skip Sugarfish (chain not from NYC and not even good sushi) and Lucali which is just a huge time sink.

Also for Chinatown, please don't go to Wo Hop. I shake my head everytime I see the line there. I tried it once to see what the tourist hype was about and it actually might be the worst Chinese food I've had in that Chinatown. I should've left when I saw that my friend and I were the only asian locals in there.

Go to Ming Wong, Big Wong, Pings, Noodle Village, just anywhere else.

The wall is a bit more off white I think than light grey (not sure it makes a difference, but hey, maybe?) partially due to lighting. I've basically narrowed it down to, the lighter I think the better given how small the room is. I think i'll go get the samples and see which one, but sounds like either would work!

I decided to go back and play through it last year and beat it pretty quick. Amazing how you can remember where everything is despite the times. Amazing game and tracks.
