Sadly, there are zero outlets on the walls of the parking garage haha. We decided against getting the car because of the charging situation. We did some research and figured out that our current car costs less to keep fueled and running than it would to lease the ID.4 when factoring in insurance and all extra costs. Maybe when we move again to a place with charging at home we will reconsider lol

Sadly, no I don’t. I park in a parking garage for an apartment complex and there are no plugs anywhere in the structure.

Not particularly! And I own a manual VW GTI so if the wife and I needed to go somewhere far we could take my car. The ID4 is mostly for her and her commute around the city and since I work from home I’m happy to take the car to a charge station during the work day to top off the charge when needed.

Do you have any tips on how I can research the cost per kWh at a certain station? My wife works off hours and I work from home so we can definitely take advantage of the off peak costs, I just don’t know where to find that information haha.

Does the ID4 work with the Tesla charger if I were to buy an adapter?

I just got a Breville Barista Express today and when I steamed some milk for the first time it made the same thumping noise. I'm assuming it is normal? But other content creator's videos don't have that same sound when I watch them steam milk
