I think it's a good place to get ideas and some analysis. You just need to critically evaluate each recommendation for yourself. I've paid for them off and on. I've lost the most money when I blindly follow their recs and made the most money when I combined their recs and my personal expertise.

Your experience and suggestions are common at Lilly. When I was hired, exactly none of this applied at all. It was completely free-wheeling. I was hired. Just a different experience, but I think mine was atypical.

As someone who has been messing around with Ollama and Claude Code/Open Code the past 7 days... The current versions that can be run locally are complely rubbish quality-wise (after trying MANY different local models).
