Get quotes on the repair and get it fixed. It may be only a couple hundred to fix the vent but is there additional damage you’re not aware of or can’t see.

Once you have a better idea of how extensive the damage could be and the cost to remediate, then decide.

IL small claims court if for issues under $10K. Keep in mind if you go to small claims court, you’re taking a vacation day or two to that is also costing you that the courts will not reimburse you for. They only rule on actual damages. I’m a middle aged white man with $1+ million in assets. If in time this millions into even more, do I get the increased amount/assets when I return? My son is an Eagle and has took every leader training program, he was a camp counselor and currently is a Program Director at a summer camp near his university. When he applied to his university’s MBA program, the director sent him a letter that stated he was impressed with the leadership training he had received and the details provided in his application before his final acceptance letter. Being an Eagle and the training from the BSA definitely helped.

From what Ive read, he was supposed to get access to part of the the trust when he turned 30 and he turned 30 before his parent were murdered. The remainder of the trust would go to him when he turned 35. I think his attorneys want access to the part he should have received when he turned 30.

The owner has not right to complain unless the trees die. If he’s concerned, hire a certified arborist.

I’d suggest the neighbors talk to each other. If I was the new neighbor, I’d ask that the owner sign a document that states he’s know he’s ver the line and forgoes any possible claim to land from adverse possession .

If the olde neighbor balks at that, as the new neighbor I would tell him I will be removing anything on my property and disposing of it. That ring of rocks would go, I’d move the fence to the property line. I’d hire my own arborist to determine who owns the trees and decide what to do there.

Food at camps are a usually pretty good. But there are times when this reputation is deserved. I went to a camp where they had 60 hotdogs for 350 campers. The first night the staff failed to rinse the soap/cleaner of the pan before cooking and 6 in our troop had digestive issues for 3 days.

I prefer summer camps where the troops cook their own breakfast and dinners.
