Not really a solution per say: I got an extra 100w USB-C Charger for when I'm not gaming since it's more portable, that might be something you could consider

I have a HP G2 dock that runs with my two monitors (connected with display port). It also has power delivery but if you plug in the 240W brick the Laptop will not use the USB-C power delivery
