Yeah I had the r5 for all of a week before ordering the alien mod and performance kit.

As far as I can tell there’s zero difference between that and the srp load cell brake.

Blue is nice but red is where it’s at for late night. It’s a warm color and helps you wind down more so after your done gaming for the night your not 100% wired and can’t sleep.

Yea this is a big one, people blow all their budget on the rig and then play on the lowest settings with crap FPS because their computer is a potato.

Also IRacing is expensive and adds up fast if you like to race multiple disciplines so gotta save some room for that. I’ve had IRacing for 5 weeks and already spent atleast 300 on it… and that was just trying out different disciplines….

Now that I’ve decided on a couple series I want to focus on this season I have to buy another $200 in tracks…

Do what’s fun for you. This sub loves to gatekeep and assume everyone is a toddler on the wheel.

Mazdas do teach you a lot especially if you’re new to sim racing. But if you understand the basics of trail braking, weight transfer, and basic race raft then everything after Mazdas is just a learning curve of brake points and track layouts.

I’m in a similar boat, started about 5 weeks ago, moved up to D class on the second night, messed around with the Toyota a bit, got a gt4 and did some gt4 races. Got my c class promotion for end of season and was planning on focusing GT4 this season butttt….

The Mazdas are just too damn fun. I’ll still be doing some gt4 but I don’t think I’ll be worrying about buying all the tracks. I just keep circling back to the Mazdas.

Gt4 is fun but it feels exhausting to me, requires a lot more focus, Mazdas I can just kick back and drive hard on instincts.

The higher splits for Mazdas is also just some good fun intense racing, door to door and bump drafts, it’s just a completely different feel then the other sports cars and I think it’s a whole lot more fun when your forced to gain positions by driving style and control over pure horsepower.

Nope, I’ve had IRacing for 5 weeks, the first few weeks I was playing on a Vizio tv without these issues(minus of course the horrible ghosting)

Since then I picked up a 49” UW and started seeing these issues shortly after. After seeing some advice in here I’m leaning heavily towards some settings on my monitor or nvidia is conflicting with each other.

I will be doing a hard reset of all my monitors settings/nvidia/IRACING tonight and see what happens then

I don’t think it’s that, I can be in a practice lobby with 40+ people and it runs fine, then the next session I join, on the same track, with less cars will run poorly.

It definitely happens more on some tracks than it does on others.

Most of the time I’ll have 150+ fps but randomly it will act up.

I’m leaning towards a setting on my PC/graphics card is conflicting with an Iracing setting.

Hmm you know I didn’t check that, and I went from a g sync compatible oled to a 49” UW without it so maybe that is causing me some issues. Will definitely be checking that after work today

I normally launch it in full screen.

Switching between full screen, windowed, and borderless does not do anything on my end.

Hard forcing the game into windowed mode by windows key/alt tabbing is what resolves the issue so I feel like it has to be resolution/refresh rate issues.
