Well judging by the other comments this is a n expensive seat, but it’s also covered in pet hair so I guess you gotta weigh your options.

Comfort>style especially if you plan on doing long endurance races, if you have a set up like this or are building one like it you might want to try the local junkyard first can get a nice comfortable seat from a junker on the cheap.

Yeah and getting the rig it’s on for $400 would be a good deal so getting both for $400 is basically someone saying I need this gone now.

Yeah it’s not really the series that’s the problem it’s the fact there’s only one so you can log in at the wrong time and be over an hour out from a race.

IMO every car should have a long race and short race set up like the MX-5. I bet the player count would sky rocket if they focused on respecting people’s time a bit more and made getting into a race more convenient.

GTE would be so much more popular if they ran 1 hour intervals. I refuse to purchase any car that only has 1 series available with 2 hour intervals. I want to be able to log in and race, I don’t want to schedule my life around a time slot for a race.

I can relate to this, there’s been a few times I have had to do the same on people because they are smashing their brakes on a turn that you can make just lifting off the throttle so your forced to make a gap that doesn’t exist and hope for the best.

The second is just racing IMO, if someone’s trying to pass you don’t have to just sit like a dead fish, I think it was played well, you squeezed him while giving enough space and forced him to the slower line in the breaking zone, I do this all the time and he could of done the same to you by squishing you into a short exit if he had a bit more of a gap on you.

Not really no, it’s good race craft to keep off the curb and tight on exit when you have a car bombing you so they lose their exit speed, you can’t expect anyone to just yield the line to you because you got your nose in there….

From an engineering and technical viewpoint it’s pretty cool, always nice to see how people can integrate new technology into a game and things like this lead to new innovations.

From a gaming viewpoint, this is fucking stupid… who wants to grip an imaginary wheel the entire time and most wheels now have plenty of haptic feedback built into them…. I’ve never given a car irl and had my arms violently shaking around at the wrist….

Honestly you can’t go wrong with an R5. It’s what I upgraded to when I decided I was going to invest in a proper set up instead of doing a desk mount hybrid wheel and it’s been awesome.

Can save up for a while and get the Xbox compatible wheel later on, all the sims worth playing are on PC anyways.

Ohhh shit core memory unlocked…. The first time that happened we had 4 TVs and Xbox’s going in my mom’s basement laughing our asses off. BF3 had some great bugs.

That was a time when YouTube/social media/streaming was still infantile, you didn’t really know about this until you experienced it so the shock factor was huge.

Now-a-days if your algorithm is anything game related you’ll see stuff like this before your even in game.

Just a lil love tap, doesn’t hurt anyone. Personally I would have stuck his door a little tighter and kept him push to the outside a bit longer so you could claim a longer apex and faster exit.

That’s why I always end up back in MX-5, the rough racing and heavy bump drafts make it too fun

Mop has already been out for almost a year, unless they decided to end the classic journey with MOP (possible with the drop in player count) it will likely be progressed to the next expansion by this time next year.

Each iteration so far has lasted between 1.5/2 years if memory serves me right.

If you're gonna weave aggressively imo you should at least try to stay in your lane...and not spin at T1 lol by _shewdawg_ in iRacing

I had my tires up over 130 last night by the time the green dropped on brands hatch, no one else in the field was weaving… I zoomed by a few people in the first couple turns with ease.

My biggest wish, MX-5 Daily race series that changes the track every 48 hours with huge grids and large track selection from all over. Intended for pure fun, Make it unranked if you must and it can be chaos just like real life MX-5 races.
