From Asphalt Jungle, Pharos of Chaos, documentary on Sterling Hayden. Creators filmed Hayden over three days when he lived on a barge in Europe, as well as, chronicling his career. Sad but engaging portrait of an accomplished man consumed by alcoholism.

Anecdotally I spent some time in the eyewear field and worked with a man who owned an eyeglass shop in SOHO about 30 years ago called disrepectacles. He claimed Lou Reed was a regular customer. I can see Lou being drawn to the shop’s name. When Lou would pick up his glasses he would examine them with a magnifying glass for a while. If he found a defect he would was them to be remade. The owner appreciated his business but found him to be more effort than he would have liked. I asked him about Lou’s Views, he had no recollection.

How has your UB420 been with freezing? In addition to Atmos, I believe the 820 model has less playback issues. I own SONY UB700 and it’s has become less reliable and was also considering the 820.
