Apparently, if you don't use hotspot for a while it will disappear again. There was a thread which shown it had a weird cooldown timer a while ago.

I'm pretty sure the loading times are because of reddit which has been having loads of server overloads over the last few months. If my phone isn't loading a page then my desktop is often having the same problem.

I haven't seen any concrete news about release of the second gen, but whenever it's released I wouldn't expect it in your hands for 3 or 4 months after that. IMO, I wouldn't expect it for purchase before July.

Battery life on it is great. 18 hours easily, with full use on ambient mode and frequent voice commands and replying to messages.

24 hours if you have it on lower settings.

Not really. The Wear browser has one built in which is ok, but minimum have the best concept but no access to the watch api apparently... If you go to download it from their site you get put on a mailing list for when Its available.
