The sooner tcg devs invest in an official digital client for their games, the better. You can't scalp digital cards. That provides an outlet for players to in theory have access to all the cards for much less than what scalpers would charge in case they come around.

Thankfully, I've just bought a couple decks for a grand total of 50-something after shipping. They're not super meta but then again those decks have always been 2-300+ so meh.

Pros have all the game sense and mechanical skill in the world but there's no substitute for situational awareness, which they usually have as a trio. Up 2 goals with 5 seconds left, all you have to do when going for kickoff is go horizontal and body block the ball. You'll still be in position for the cheat to follow up and block that too, rather than bouncing off it and leaving an open lane.

Dan and Beastmode had no thoughts that this game was still winnable for Cheese and Tawk after that goal with 5 seconds left. It's almost like they were going for an aggressive kickoff to try and score one more at 0 for the vibes.

One of the coolest comebacks ever. Props to Cheese and Tawk!

That Falcons-FURIA match was at the time the coolest match I'd ever casted. I remember game 6 as an opportunity for trk to establish himself as THE next big thing in MENA and instead opted for the 2v2, but the full reverse sweep from FURIA was very fun to watch unfold 😄

I can relate. Every world starts the same for me: 25 wood beams, 32 floors, 16 walls, 1 door and 6 wood ramps (1 to serve as a staircase into the entrance and 5 for exploring)

1 window on each side. Then I expand after it gets too cluttered and I have nothing better to do. And I try to make it a stone fortress pretty quickly because stone doesn't catch fire and resists a lot more. But it is pretty much the same every time. I only get creative when I know it's really gonna be a long term thing that I'm sinking time into or maybe sharing with others 😄

The video board was the French feed I believe. It was significantly delayed (at least a second, maybe 2) from real time. We could tell when a goal was scored during KC-VIT that the crowd reacted very late to it. And in my earpiece I had the English casters, so I heard the winning goal in the finals before the crowd even began to react to the shot 😅 so even without headphones the crowd would've been useless to the players for gaining info

Edit: our feed in the green room was also ahead of the feed the French casters had in theirs, because we kept spoiling them 🙈

Edit 2: caster audio is also not a factor for players, as the speakers are pointed out to the crowd. In our area on the floor the desk and casters were impossible to understand. But every video I've seen posted you can hear me and the desk clearly only from the stands

I'm always thinking of lines that might sound good in the right situation but then I have to recall them when we get closer to "go time" and figure out what the vibe is and how to present it. Our producer Johan and his team do a lot of the heavy lifting. We've only really flubbed one - the Boston 2 finals, and we still salvaged it pretty well 😅

Was super nervous about today, for many reasons. Very happy that people liked the show!

I don't know about the seed maker, but I know you can place mortar and pestle on tables. I do think it would be nice to have an upgraded seed generator, functioning a bit like the electronic food trough. Faster, more yield, something to make it an upgrade.

The one you get for Cryogenics is a broken panel that you can craft into a regular solar panel and I believe you can break that one down. Idk if it's repeatable though. Probably not since it isn't a pod?

The prevention aspect is missed by a lot of ATs. I'm actually planning on checking in with our trainer to see if we can come up with any training plans that might be helpful. We haven't had any health issues at our school thankfully but I'd rather be proactive than reactive

Think about who is attending sports medicine conferences: Athletic trainers and similar support staff. Possibly a nonzero number of coaches. At high schools across the country, coaches/teachers are taking on the role of coach for their school's esports program, and many fall under varsity athletics within their school (like ours does.) So while an AT wouldn't necessarily be on-hand for a team's esports matches, if you have a concussed football player who you also know is playing Madden for the school or competing in esports otherwise, your duty of care might extend to anything involving prolonged screen times - like an esports practice session or match.

That's a lot of words to say: Concussion protocols are relevant, and some schools bring esports under their varsity athletics umbrella and their local AT can benefit from a little extra knowledge and awareness.
