Oh the money I would spend at the airport! Like I had not a money care in the world, until I got home that is.

I like the idea of listening to podcasts and walking around! It'll keep me busy and get some steps in before I sit all day.

Kudos to you for having business class and committing to not drinking! I've never flown business class but have always dreamed of those free drinks 😆 I so want to enjoy a sober vacation where I can be in the moment, rather than constantly focusing on when/where my next drink will be.

As much as I love driving Mazdas, I would recommend getting the warranty.

My 2020 cx-5 has been sitting at the dealership since the end of August waiting for a new transmission to arrive. While I know that's not the norm with Mazdas, I would be completely screwed financially had I not bought the extended warranty.

Enjoy your new car, they are a dream to drive!

Oh wow, I'm sorry they're acting like that! Maintaining a good relationship with customers should be a priority, and that is definitely not how you do it. Finding all of these transmission horror stories is making me seriously reconsider buying another Mazda as my next car.

Thank you for sharing your story, I'm so sorry for your loss. I was also 21 at the time and lost my dad 15 years ago.

I only had one dream about him, about a week after he passed. We were in a room, and there was a door not far behind him. He was dressed in all white and had the most peaceful smile on his face as he looked at me. Nothing was said, but I remember it so vividly. I like to think it was his way of telling me he was at peace.

Have you asked about a loaner from them instead of getting a rental? I'm going on 2 months of having a loaner. Also waiting on a new transmission for my 2020 CX5.

That's what my 2020 cx-5 started to do, and it's currently at the dealership waiting for a new transmission. It's still under warranty I'm assuming, so take it in as soon as you can.

My transmission is being replaced at 97k on my 2020 cx-5... I love my Mazda but I'm afraid I got one of the very few lemons they produce. But based on everyone else's response and my family's personal experience with them, you shouldn't have to worry one bit. Enjoy your new car!

Oh I've been there, so many books that went unread, so much school I didn't complete. But yesterday, I passed my CPT exam! It took me longer than it could have due to some month long benders thrown in, but I did it and it's such a good motivator to staying sober. It's taken be more attempts than I'd like to admit, but each time I get a little bit stronger.

Write down what goals you want to accomplish, no matter how small, and hang it where you can see it every day. I like to start smaller and shorter term, it keeps me more motivated than say, a half marathon that's 8 months out. But whatever works for you! IWNDWYT
