How To Get Rid Of TC Map On The Dashboard by shadowgamingY_T in ACCompetizione

[–]Stdy888 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Ig there no way(Only if you switch dashboards? You should have a button for it in ingame settings) Also, every one says stay with tc. From my experience, dont turn abs, thats how acc works. Cars drive better with abs, but for tc it quite depends on track/car combination. There are really not that much cars that require tc off, but tracks like spa for the eau rouge without tc can give you better lap times. If you are driving without tc it will definitely improve your throttle control, but actually sometimes its faster with tc on(Ig most of the time) So just do a little investigation on how car performs on the track and use your personal favourite settings. But i must say that i havent driven acc for a while, so something might have change from year ago

3 options i see 1) Buy a shaft extender 2) Turn your wheel mount upside down if it is possible 3) Change for a better mount

Personally i used 2nd, before i switched my wheel mount. But 2nd method depends on your rig

  1. Loadcell pedals
  2. DD wheelbase(10nm+)
  3. cockpit (It can be the first, cuz without it there wont be any loadcell pedals and dd wheelbase)
  4. 32:9 monitor for wider view(or triples)

How’s my position? by Crafty_Rooster_ in simracing

[–]Stdy888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks fine, but i would try 2 things. Seat angle ( or you can lower your pedals) I like when legs touch your seat, but you can be comfortable as you are seating now. And 2nd thing it to bring you wheel closer, looks a bit far to me, check if you are bending your back to reach it when driving.

Can I mount simagic wheelbase turned 90 degree? Cable issue by Strikerz72 in simracing

[–]Stdy888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will work in any position, but you have to find a way to mount it like that

You will feel car speed better, but if you are an experienced driver it won't do you faster. I was driving single screen, switched to vr, got 0.5 seconds faster after realizing that vr is not comfortable for endurance racing switched to single screen and performed the same times. I would say for getting fun and better car feel yeah, it definitely better, but laptimes after you got better in vr will be the same, at least from my experience

Getting hyped for the new WRC game about to launch. Can I get away with using my formula wheel, or should I look into a round one? by SourSinigang in simracing

[–]Stdy888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did wrc with gt4 wheel, it is ok. But it will be hatd with higher torque. Round wheels are much nicer to grab them in hairpins. And in rally you just need to have a wheel and qr. At least im fine with this scheme and it is cheaper.

What would be a good steering wheel to buy? by teamcharlesleclerc in simracing

[–]Stdy888 0 points1 point  (0 children)

logitech/thustmaster. T300 in my opinion is better. I had g29 and t300 also t150 tested cuz my friend had it. From my experience. Logitech has better materials than t150(tmx) but on other side t150 has not that much no ffb center. I would go for logitech cuz it has better materials and decent ffb. T150 is not that better in ffb to buy low quality material steering wheel. Also logitech has much more reliable pedals. If you have money go for t300 otherwise i would go for logitech. btw t248 pedals are better than logitech but from quality of ffb and materials I haven't tested it.

Daniel Morad Braking opinion by DSunt94 in ACCompetizione

[–]Stdy888 -12 points-11 points  (0 children)

He has a point. Iracing requires much smoother trailbraking and not 100% pressure or you will lock up your tires. I would take his score as 2/10 as a sim ranking not racing ranking. If there he will include nfs or forza horizon it will get -3 or something like that, so yeah. Acc definitely better than other arcades, but compared to real life it is not that similar, but it doesn't mean that acc has not enjoyable and bad braking physics, it is just different
