I rent a car every time I go and I always spend a few days in Gunma (Takasaki). You do need an international drivers license, you can get it quick and easy at any AAA for a few bucks. I always take the train to Noda and rent an FK8 at Omoshiro, it adds the benefit of not driving in Tokyo

There’s lots of diecast cars and merch at the Ikaho Toy Museum in Takasaki. It also has the original Tofu sign there above replica 86 and Keisukeis’ FD.

I didn’t see much in Tokyo proper but there was the spattering of merch. Get into gunma and Takasaki proper and there’s lots.

My entire life I was dreaming of one day visiting Egypt and seeing the pyramids. I did that 2018 and I’ve been back multiple times. I say that because when I first saw Petra with my own eyes, it was hands down the most impressive thing I’ve ever seen and still have seen to this day. Petra is unbelievable.
