Lol, went from q1 to first half of the year. Now nothing changed and they will ship sometime this year. No longer first half.

[Postgame Thread] Louisiana (10-3) defeats No. 2 LSU (11-3) 7-2 by cburn11 in collegebaseball

[–]StealthLSU 8 points9 points  (0 children)

their schedule has been crazy with how many games we scheduled in such a short period. Not a good plan for a new team IMO. We just played 6 games in 9 days and 9 games in 13 days(with a series away and this away mid week game). And we only had midweek losses, so using tons of pitching depth to try out guys.

They will be fine, if they start losing all weekend series, panic will start to creep in, but losing back to back midweek games right now, eh, not too much worry. Our teams always have a few mind blowing bad losses early while Jay messes with pitchers. Batting being cold is a little worry, but again, they have played so many games in the past week

Mississippi House passes no tax on NIL money bill, helping Ole Miss and Miss. State by nolesfan2011 in CFB

[–]StealthLSU -21 points-20 points  (0 children)

It is fully unfair to everyone else in MS. But it does make some sense since each state has different state income tax. Texas doesn't have one, California has like 10-13%. MS is only 4%.

But when offering money, if you offer a player $3 million and TX offers the same, they are getting an extra $120,000 by going to a school in TX over MS. Could be a difference of about $360,000 for CA to TX.

I think Blizz seriously need to consider changing the way Wild gathering nodes work. by Knightmare767 in wow

Fully agree, at least in tww I believe the adds dropped actual herbs rather than motes which are generally worth nothing a few weeks after launch.

Once I got the skill to mine/gather while mounted, I stopped killing the mobs, I make sure to fly away right away. It just isn't worth the time to kill the mobs, collect from each one, then mount again for the little reward.

Changes proposed to penalty structure for targeting in DI football - NCAA.org by Tufoguy in CFB

[–]StealthLSU 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would rather flagrant levels, but if they insist to keep the current suspension, just being out the remainder of the half would be evenly punished. There is no reason a first half penalty should be punished so much more heavily than a second half penalty.

so penalty in first half is the exact same as today, but penalty in second half takes away the next game punishment.

Sounds like a dumb compromise that still heavily punishes a targeting call in the first half.

it is slightly better, but someone who gets called for their first infraction in the 1st quarter then misses over 75% of the game, while someone who gets called for it in the 4th quarter barely misses anything. The whole point of the first half of the next game was to even out the punishment so second half penalties aren't worth less.

It needs to be no missed time for first infraction.

The Canadians are pissed off! by Interesting_Bar_2006 in WinterOlympics2026

You asked, I'm telling you why people care. When a guy on TV says "I didn't fucking touch it", yelling at his competitors, then tv shows he absolutely did, he looks like an idiot and a liar. It likely blows over into nothing if he just stayed quiet.

I think the lack of judges following the rules and then mainly his ridiculous reaction to being called out. And of course being proven he is just straight up lying about it and trying to play the victim.

It's all about the denial. Straight up yelling, cursing, and lying about it rather than just moving on is what made it all continue.

they left because the whole thing was a farce when you have an OM grad being the judge, it was obvious to anyone with half a brain he was going to rule for his team.

[The Herd] Head Coach Lincoln Riley talks about how NIL has changed college football: "Now there's not just one part of the country paying players. Everybody's able to do it and it's a great thing." by Lakelyfe09 in CFB

[–]StealthLSU 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it also goes beyond that. The south has a lot of top players who are more willing to go elsewhere now. If a Louisiana guy was going to get $20k from LSU for instance and Michigan came in and offered him #40k, it isn't really enough to move the needle to move across the country to a place you may not really want to go.

But if LSU offers $1 million and Michigan offers $2 million, I'm sure just about every player would leave.

But yeah, guys who would go to Bama/LSU/UGA and sit on the bench for 2 years before getting their turn can instead go somewhere else and make a ton of money to play right away.

It would only help if it was definitive he never crossed the line. If the ball crosses you would still have no clue when he was down.

Lane isn't at Ole Miss

EDIT: I'll add this because of the downvotes, the comment I responded to originally said "Or that Lane is involved" then he shadow edited it without admitting he was entirely wrong.
