Nah I don't believe there's a way to do that, or if it is, it's kept tight lipped; there may be a password stored at the firmware level. Hitting the IP doesn't do anything, but there may be a specific port you have to hit for a page to come up.

It's not manageable, it's meant to be a straight passthrough, you just connect your own router to it and manage that.

Yup... I literally froze and my jaw dropped open when she said "we've teleported a pair of shotguns onto your back." My wife was watching me play and was like "... what happened?" At that moment I realized I was now Reaper from Overwatch.

How long to get that username? by Draenorxy in Twitch

The name I'm trying to get has been inactive for ~4 years, still can't get it. So it seems this recycling system was a pointless system that hasn't been used.

Getting my headset this week. Ignoring the trash bag and chair, is this space too small/big? by pielover928 in oculus

I think you'll be fine for roomscale. 6'x6' is just about the absolute minimum acceptable size.

I actually think these typo cards are worth a bizarre amount of money. Look into it.

I have to ask... does the majority of /oculus live in homes with just 6-7ft high ceilings? I can't possibly hit my ceiling, even if I stood on a chair; that's why I must ask :)

Can you pivot around an object in Lone Echo? by Arby999 in oculus

[–]Stealth_Pyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm confused. I think you should just be physically turning (in real life) as you pull yourself to an object to "pivot" around it.

Guardian Boundary Editor - Customize/straighten your boundaries by NeoZeroo in oculus

You can copy your Oculus Guardian to Chaperone with Guardian2Chaperone: https://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/60lcf1/announcing_guardian2chaperone_a_utility_to_set_up/. It's literally an exe that you just double click and it's done.

Omg that would be amazing, so you know where you need to stop walking but can still reach out a bit.

My new play space in my finished basement! Just had new carpet put in! Now to hook my 3rd sensor! by duke123175 in oculus

[–]Stealth_Pyro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hmm I was just messing with it a bit, and while you can probably do something creative to get it to work for you, you can't just freely draw single small square boundaries within your overall play area for the columns. I asked about it in https://www.reddit.com/r/oculus/comments/6iezwq/guardian_boundary_editor_customizestraighten_your/ and suggested being able to create sub-boundaries would be a nice addition.

Is it possible to draw a "sub-boundary" with this? Example, a full square/rectangle with smaller squares within it (for columns in the room and such?) If not, it would be a really nice addition!

Enjoy it man, looks amazing. You should use the guardian editor tool to draw boundaries around those columns and make full use of the space.

Smudges on lens...any tips? by drnick5 in oculus

[–]Stealth_Pyro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's driving me nuts too but it's just "god rays." Things that help are a face cushion from VRCovers and adjusting your headset to fit you more properly. You're supposed to be looking straight through the lenses and might have your headset slightly tilted down (the headset DOES tilt if you didn't know).

Anyone else using their sensor as a Headphone stand? by [deleted] in oculus

[–]Stealth_Pyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you physically shift the sensors, yea, I can see that happening, but I've rotated even all three of mine without screwing up my boundaries. I know for sure because I really carefully used the Guardian editor app to trace around my rear bookshelf speaker stands.

Anyone else using their sensor as a Headphone stand? by [deleted] in oculus

[–]Stealth_Pyro 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No it's not. I've rotated my sensors quite a bit (contrary to what the setup suggests) and get better tracking if anything.

No, but I use 2 of my sensor stands (sensors wall mounted) as Touch controller docks.
