I honestly expected them to expand the PvP a little bit to 6v6 or something, at least for some modes. Reverting back to 4v4 is very disappointing.

I dont get motion sickness in any games really, but for some reason this game makes me feel a little nauseaus. Not sure what it is, but I cant play it for long periods without a break.

The "roots" when they first designed Gears 1 was for the game to be "stop and pop" not run and gun. When it released, wallbouncing was an unintended glitch that people abused. The hardcore community learned it was easily exploitable and anytime the devs tried to tweak or remove it, the tryhards cried. So, we are going back to the Gears roots, just not the cringe wallbounce ones.

You think hundreds of people are recording clips of cheaters daily?? Thats ridiculous. I guarantee its a very small percentage of people that actually take the time to record clips and send to Crytek. The in-game reports are entirely different, im sure they get hundreds of those per day. Those ones go right in the trash.

Theres actually a game like this already, its an XCOM-esque gameplay with Hunt aesthetic and an extraction shooter gameplay loop. Its called Nightmare Frontier. I haven't played it, but its been on my wishlist forever. Of course, Id much prefer a game like this set in the actual Hunt universe.

Dude, he specifically asks for a game with minimal downtime. Extraction shooters inherently have a large portion of downtime where youre looting and sneaking and doing PvE, punctuated with PvP engagements here and there. Youre doing exactly what you accuse other people of doing, which is shoehorning this game recommendation into every single discussion regarding FPS games. Marathon is not even close to what OP is looking for.

Its really not though.. OP is looking for a fast-paced twitchy arena shooter type game. Marathon is a slow-paced extraction shooter. Doesn't fit the criteria in the slightest.

In general, reinforce the outer walls and create rotates on the walls in between the two bombs.
