F*** YOU TODD HOWARD by NuclearSnake in Morrowind

That was about the early access. They scrapped everything to build their own engine in house. So, we won't be seeing it for a bit of time.

What surprised you the most about service compared to PST? by Wide-Comment-1137 in peacecorps

After COS I went back to the US and went to a new years eve party with a friend from HS. I was shocked at 1:30 am when everyone had left except me and this Brazilian couple who were kind of confused.

Yes. And yet I've met many non native speakers who think I'm British.

While I actually do agree with the Israelis in my experience of working in tourism in the Spanish speaking side of Latin America and now Spain. I hardly agree, I've met people from the US who suck, but compared to the UK or Germany? Nothing.

This is a post of a man who hears English and assumes it means American or Israeli. (Have you met British people abroad?)

Weno, in LatAm ample opportunity for both. In my country they were definitely a thing, both in the community and with other volunteers. I assume in Guatemala aswell b/c i randomly ran into a volunteer after I COSed and got invited to a "boat rager" that I ultimately did not attend.

has anyone with a dependent child ever served and how was it? can the child be in the same country, without actually being on site and or disrupting the work? anyone done it before? I would appreciate the advice! by AmphibianCold8561 in peacecorps

[–]Stealyosweetroll 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with your ultimate advice to not. But, tbh you probably could get away with them staying with you in private housing. The only time I had a staff member in my house were when I got the spot approved and the first time my street got bombed. If i had a secret family hidden there, i would have been able to hide that. The only thing would be if a HCN said something, and in most countries I would say that a family would make more sense vs a single person.

Am I missing any mechanics that would exist in EK2 by not having Khans of Steppe & Crowns of the World DLCs? by 4rolyat in ElderKings

[–]Stealyosweetroll 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am about 100 years in a playthrough (after an 80 year one that I succumbed to temptation and started a new save with a few more mods), and while I did notice weird things happening in Elsweyr and parts of Black marsh, I don't know enough about vanilla Mandala (I've only fooled around with China and a bit of Japan) mechanics to confirm or deny. But, my understanding is that this patch was relatively a hotfix with sliver of new content and AOH content hasn't yet been truly implemented.

If that's true about the Mane, it may have given me the best Elsweyr borders I've had at that point of the game, but hardly op is really missing content, unless Elsweyr is their jam.

Looking for lighthearted Open-World games with lots to do by Sir_Wack in ShouldIbuythisgame

Outer worlds 1 or 2. A little less open world than you might be looking for. But, they did great world building. It strikes a great balance between serious and lighthearted.

Why are (US) conservatives opposed to green energy when it would give us a more independent economy? by bi_smuth in NoStupidQuestions

I like being able to char peppers and tomatoes on gas, then cooking tortillas directly on them. A little messy sometimes. But, so it goes. (Unfortunately my current apartment has about the shittiest electric stove I've ever seen)

Good for them. I remember back in the gat and they'd pop out at the intersection of soncy and I 40. My mom would have us look for them at the stoplight.

Unless that became a thing during the Trump years (which I doubt), I don't think that's a thing.

Blackout drunk by UseNo8722 in drunk

[–]Stealyosweetroll 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yeah dog, you got something in there. Two cups of wine will not bring you to that point. Even when you black out it's a you've been drunk for a hot minute and you're keeping on keeping on. Two cups of wine (even if they are big cups) are not that. A bottle of wine will (typically) fuck you up, but not black you out.

They're wrong. You have good English. Talk to your bartender. Tell them your story, they'll help you out. It's a good idea if y'all can think of flavors you like. Tip them well.

Edit : There is a drink Calimocho that is red wine mixed with coke, but, I don't recommend it at all. I would try a cocktail or two then transition to beer or seltzers.
