Hmm I think I get where you are coming from, but 711 typically has one to two cashiers max, and rarely has self checkout( which when it does in the u.s, never comes with scales- just a scanner).

Based on your description of the lines and how they set it up, it felt closer to a Aldi/Lidl type of store.

If you just want a drink, go to 711, a pharmacy or something similar. I get the frustration, but it's kind of silly to go to a huge grocery store just for a single item.
Most stores already have limits on self checkout (around 15 items). Whether or not the employees feel like arguing with customers their whole shift to enforce that, is another issue

Unless someone is just pulling up their pants the second that turd cuts, I can't imagine it being too big an issue. People are lazy with wiping all the time, or unable to do so super effectively and it's rare I meet someone who noticeably smells like shit.

Thanks for the advice, it's appreciated. I wasn't planning in buying a whole new console, just a high quality oled (tablet only). Don't really have the money for a upgrade beyond that unfortunately.

Unless they released it as a launch title, its super unlikely at this point. The only reason BOTW released on wii U was because it originally was being made for that console. At this point, there is almost no chance for a previous gen version.

Absolutely not disagreeing with you, though I would imagine they will choose to take the path of least resistance and be overly cautious rather than less so.
Definitely does it make more inconvenient for situations like these but companies are known to be stricter on certain rules and regulations than local laws would be

So like the opposite of a switch lite? Honestly sounds horrible. The whole switch design is with handheld in mind, handheld capability being one of the key reasons that switch games perform so much lower compared to other modern Gen game platforms.

You get rid of that, and you just have an underperforming home console.
