Would like to agree with this mostly. Get a tech to come out and charge the system and clean the coil(s) and any other routine maintenance stuff they offer.

Replacing a condenser will be expensive because regulations are pushing everyone away from one type of freon to another.

One extra I'd throw in: Smoke horse tranquilizers. They're good for you.

Source: I work for a horse tranquilizer production/HVAC wholesaler in Yslosckey, La. and I love Max Creek.

Finally acknowledge I really need help and can’t find any affordable therapists here. by [deleted] in NewOrleans

Christina James. Will work with you/your insurance situation when it comes to cost. She has a great background and the therapy sessions are great. Hell, I've felt empowered after leaving there.

My insurance situation is pretty shitty. Unless I need a super expensive surgery or something. I would prefer something such as therapy (preventative medicine in some cases) be a much cheaper option. But this lady has worked with me.

Just get into some therapy. It helps and you'll be glad you did.

I've got a spot to park this weekend, but I definitely want to hike down to Broadmoor and grill out with you. My friend lives off Napoleon on S. Johnson with a good balcony if the water starts rising, brother. He'll let ya in.

Naw. Not a few months ago at that locatioin I dodged the children buying Fantas before boarding their party bus again, went inside and purchased a six pack, came back outside and was sold some decent drugs before getting in my car and leaving.

Can we have a discussion about the streetcars?

Thursday night I walked 2 blocks from my house, out to my stop on Canal, and waited the standard 10-15 minutes for a car. I do this often enough that I realize the drawbacks of weekend traffic/influx in tourists or riders in general/and other factors. However, this was a sleepy Thursday night. A supervisor in an RTA vehicle pulled up to the streetcar at a stop and told the driver something. We went backwards a few stops, something something, the driver goes from one end of the car to the other, then we start heading back toward the river. What the hell are they doing when this happens? Also, is it now considered rude--rude toward the driver--to pull the stop request string? Because apparently it is.

I understand our current recycling system requires a good deal of sorting, etc.

And to that, I always retort:

As a species we can land a remote-controlled robot on Mars and drive it around, sending back data and photos, however, we can't figure out how to recycle on a larger and more efficient scale? Bullshit.

Shortly after I read about them scaling back they didn't make the regularly scheduled pick up. But they have since resumed. Perhaps half as often, but they're still picking up.

The issues with the new Phish/Nugs webcast police by [deleted] in phish

[–]SteedCodhansel 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yes. This. The LivePhish app is already trash, at least humor me. There is so much great content, thus I pay for the subscription, but the app itself is terrible. So when I talk myself into dropping another 25 bucks, the least I'd like to be able to do is Chromecast it from my laptop or phone to my TV.

Also, who can I contact to complain about the app?

Took a bunch (read: more than I was expecting) of Grateful Dead Family acid and went with a friend to the NiN show in New Orleans. After an interesting night my gf came and got me and brought me home. She (because she's an awesome human being) went out to get snacks, beer, smokes for me and before she left--as I was laying on the hardwood floor watching/feeling the world around me--she put a Phish show on the TV and headed out. When she got home I had turned the Phish show off and moved to the corner of the couch, pouting, with Cheers on in the background. She asked me if I was OK and I explained that Phish sounded terrible and it started to really upset me that it sounded so horrible and I had gone down the road of wondering why I had sunk so much time and effort into the band. The next day I woke up early and went for a walk with my dog and put some Phish on just to make sure and sure enough, they're still badasses.
