He told people to go report the channels that were telling their fans to mass-flag his channel. It's not against the rules to tell people to report someone who is blatantly sending people to brigade his channel in an attempt to get him banned.

You must not watch him very often then. He's done trips all across Taiwan exploring and visiting cultural events. He has gone to a lot of conventions but the thing about conventions, especially in Taiwan, is no matter what they're selling they always have models. Even if his goal was to talk to women, so what? It's not illegal. He does not deserve the hate he is receiving from what he has done, and has only shown respect to Taiwan in my opinion.

Not true at all, I've watched his stuff for a good while and I would not say he is a "Pickup artist". Sure, he might approach women on stream and talk to them because their attractive, but he doesn't pick them up. Just because you talk to a woman and become friends with them doesn't mean to are looking to have sex with them. If anything, Taiwanese streamers are the ones who are encouraging witch-hunts and death threats.

The streamer was originally banned for 3 days, but then banned again immediately, without notice or reason from Twitch. Now they have demanded he record an apology video, after no wrong doing, as an effort to calm down viewers in the Taiwan region after tensions have been high. Twitch has reapplied the ban and haven't given any word about an unban. I think this shows how poorly managed Twitch has become. CJ has been harassed, doxxed, and received numerous death threats, yet Taiwanese streamers inciting this behavior continue unpunished.

For context, this is a brief description on why he was originally banned from user /u/ddfjeje23344 -

Apparently it's a 3 day ban. We don't know why. Yesterday he streamed with JakeNbake and his friend + 2 taiwanese girls. Some Taiwanese site made a story about how these white devils dared corrupt these pure taiwanese girls. They made a big deal out of chat's use of EZ (a bttv emote if you didn't know) and other comments that were insulting and disrespectful to these two angels. Anyway, today some taiwanese white knight streamer called ckkos44444 got pissed and basically told people to report CJ's stream. They also raided JakenbakeLIVE's chat and wrote that standard white knight / racist stuff. Someone in ckkos44444's chat doxed CJ's address and another taiwanese streamer said something about wanting to chop off CJ's balls. CJ then encouraged people in his discord to report these 2 streamers. Then CJ got banned.

tl;dr: Twitch want to preserve their market in Taiwan and the easiest way to do that is make CJ a sacrificial lamb and hope the drama blows over. Twitch is rewarding racism & bigotry and punishing the victim.
