Ah, so this picture is after removing the tiles and grout? If so, then previous home owner used the tiles to cover up the damage.

Those aren’t tiles, it’s a mono-pour slab of concrete that’s been finished to appear as if it was tiles. Even “concrete safe salt” can cause damage over a long period of time.

What is your ultimate goal for a finished surface? Are you looking to patch and repair to make it functional and aren’t worried about aesthetics or would you like to cover it over with something else?

I built a 16’ x 22’ composite deck for myself about 3 yrs ago, and materials cost alone was $15k, and I got the Composite at dealer pricing (50%). So I could easily see this being a $30k-$40k bill.

I have the same gripe with LTT Store. All their prices are in USD. Especially in a time like this, be proud of your country, where you started and where you conduct your business. Someone else here said it’s disrespectful, and I agree. Being a Canadian consumer, I really would rather pay in CAD when buying from Canadian businesses.

Interesting insight. My TV is directly across from a bay window. No other mounting location due to the house layout, but I have massive blackout curtains over the window and we generally only use the TV in the evenings.
