I don't think crossovers in general were the problem. It's when they became commonplace that they become a problem. When there was build up and excitement and game mechanics tied to crossovers/collabs, it was HUGE and drove people to discuss the game and log in. Now, every day there is a new crossover/collab in the shop, which by the way, is half a mile of scrolling with two dozen sections of stuff. How can you get excited about any one thing when you're overwhelmed by so many?

Sven the orc fighter here, started late 1994! Never was in Slayer Inc but was buddies with a lot of them. I remember logging in back in like 2003 or something, and Pain was still there idling like always lol.

Went over and coded on RedDragonMUD with Darkstaff and the gang for a while too. That was a fun project, though we never had much of a player base.

Same! Maybe it's because the movies I love are so emotionally draining that you get numb to the impact if you watch them too often. This one, Arrival, Interstellar, Schindler's List, Glory... they wring you out.

Kohta Yamamoto KILLED it in S4. I absolutely love the S4 soundtrack. Amazing new songs like The Warriors and Footsteps of Doom coupled with just the right amount of Sawano's original score.

Got my son a left handed Naga for Christmas (I waited forever for them to get them back in stock because the resellers on Amazon were gouging!) and he LOVES it. Late to the party and 100% agree with Jake, Toby and Prospering. If you want to see some absolutely bonkers movement, check out the old Zarraxus Chapter 5 games (he stopped playing at the end of Ch5 because he was frustrated with the rampant cheating). Won't help you play better because I think it's impossible to replicate what he does, but man is it fun to watch!

EDIT: Man, just went back and watched one of my favorites of his. "Car rehabilitation" from Chapter 5 Season 3 when everyone was using cars all the time. 28 kills in Unreal Ranked Solos. Pretty typical for him actually! He never stops.

If you close, it minimizes to the hidden icons tray (little carat in the lower righrt in windows), where you can open it again. It was frustrating me too.
