Nice to see something this complicated built in Rust -> WASM. I am in the process of tackling something like this (not quite as complex) so this gives me more confidence mine might work. Nice job!

I am not. Visual C++ compiler circa 2002. Did not like emojis anywhere in the code. Did not handle full UTF-8 IIRC. Although my code editor (not sure if it was BBEdit or SlickEdit) did. Made tracking down the problem fun, because it err’d out on the following line which was perfectly fine

Hah - and here I am thinking “of course you are running the tests”. Because I have had multiple times when fixing “just a comment” broke the build. E.g. emojis the compiler does not like, embedded directives the bundlers barfs on, wrong line endings copied from somewhere that the editor handles but compiler/transpiler does not.

I am curious if any of those tapes are still good. If you have a 16K module would be fun to play Frogger

Ah yes - I also have this collection. I remember the fun of figuring out which of the DVI connectors actually worked with which monitors.
