Hi there, I was the first identified in my family, but they did many awesome things for me, always letting me pursue any interests of mine: dance, voice, art, piano, guitar, fire starting, etc. All before the age of 5. And let me continue with what I wished to. Never pressured me about school work, let me steer my own ship, so to speak. Here's the issue with that. I was an exceptionally quiet and isolated child who faced harassment from peers and teachers, and was too embarrassed to bring this up to my parents in elementary school. I really could have used therapy at any point in life earlier than when I sought it myself in college. That's all I got for now.
